Back in my Counterstrike days I used the handle "The 1985 Denver Broncos" because I liked to imagine the Denver Broncos all trying to play CS with one computer. When I made a handle for Xbox Live it wouldn't fit, so I picked another group that I liked to imagine playing games: "The Boston Pops."

I love the Ratchet and Clank series to bits...so yeah...

Now I mostly use the name SancZero, which I made up by shortening Sanctuary Zero. I got that from thissong. One of the most simple soundtracks yet one of my favorites.

My name is Jonathan O'Neill and I wanted to create a username that combined my first and second name but Jonaon was to hard to say and I didn't like it so it became Jonano .

When I was in grade school/middle school, before the start and after halftime of my soccer games I'd yell "Shaka," although it never really sounded like it. Added the triple 9's to the end of it just because I felt like I needed to add more to it.

Joey, in Swiss German. Dunno why I picked it.

My name's really not David. Out of the near infinite number of names that you can give a child, David was not one of the ones that my parents picked.

Because Whiskey Media wouldn't allow Silver-Streak. Eujin is basically a japanese pronunciation of my 2nd middle name, because Shimon (the japanese version of my 1st middle name), sounds sillier.

Edit: as a note, I mainly used Japanese because they had the coolest translations of the names, as neither of them went to Latin, Celtic dialects(I'm from Ireland and of pure celtic descent, but apparently have no Celtic related names), nor anything cool like Norse.

@believer258: I've thought about changing it many times since my name leads people to believe that I'm a huge Final Fantasy 7 fan. I also found out later that there's a Naruto episode which had "Cloud Envy" in its English title at one point, so I run into the name being taken often enough for it to be bothersome.

I've just gotten to the point where I'm known as Cloudenvy around just enough of the internet that changing my name now would probably be silly.

When i set up my Xbox live account I didn't have internet for my xbox and I was in a rush, so i just hit the letter p and moved on. When i had the select a new one because i got xbox live, StalkingTurnip was the 6th on the list of suggestions. I thought this was hilarious and instantly picked it.

My first name is Jose but when I was growing up, kids would always spell it as Hoze. I think when I was trying to think of an online name, it was around the Dia de Los Muertos holiday so I just put the two together.

Basically, I have absolutely no sense of direction just like Ryoga from Ranma 1/2. However, Ryoga is generally in more rural environments while I'm usually in Urban environments. Hence the name.

I was making an Xbox Live handle and every single thing I tried had been taken, though that was mostly because I refuse to put numbers in my usernames, I only want the simple name. So ya, this name has kinda stuck with me throughout my internet experiences, its pretty bad, but what can you do.

No, but great guess because that's my favorite metal band. Love their new CD, but nothing will top Allegiance.

I like to go to abandoned forests and or mountain tops to do my crawling. The worse that has happened to me so far is that a hawk came down to swoop me up and barely missed me. I barely got away in time.

It's a "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" reference (with the number initials being random on my part). My twitter name (MasterMenos) was taken after one of the Hollow classes because I thought it sounded cool.

My favourite genre of games is RPGs (at least, the older style ones, not the newer hybrid types like your Mass Effects), so that was a shoo-in. And I wanted to have an incredibly dumb username, so I changed what I had to RPGeesus.

And eventually I realised I hated it, so it's now slowly transitioning to RPGee. Less meaning, but whatevs.

I'm a pretty scrawny dude, and also Squanto is a name that starts with a 'sk' sound and also has an "ahn" sound in the middle. Put them together, and you get Scrawnto. Pretty dumb, right?
