I never saw any of his reviews, but either way, it's always harrowing when one's family makes him go off the deep end (just saying that out of suspicion, however). RIP to his family. :(
Wow.... there's something voyeuristic and wrong about watching him on film, but I can't help but be fascinated by his mannerisms. Can people sound like murderers, or is that just an impression developed and rationalised after the fact?

Same thing I was wondering, but I'm going with the latter for most people. I would like to imagine if i watched any of videos before this I would think "...this guy seems off" but now that I'm watching after, I just can't think anything but that.

Watch a bit of his first videos, he's much more energetic, I feel weird looking at this stuff too after learning about what he did, but it's incredibly fascinating, to most people he would just seem like he was having a bad day, but there is clearly a storm brewing in his head.

That's terrible, and really terrifying to see someone you're so familiar with do something like that.
Don't worry, there are way more offensive things in the youtube comments.
Some gems: "u planned the ultimate prank on ur parents good job dude"
"Prison bitch is your new job"
"He was an hero to us all." (AN hero being the joke)
and "your favorite anime is shit"
ahhh, fucking people.

My comment was kneejerk internet speak, I read the article and watched some of the videos and realized how terrible the situation really was, and felt bad. Some of those comments are completely awful though, Youtube has the worst comments of any site on the net by far.

So? It's no secret that Youtube's comments are pathetic. I'd say he'd need to worry for coming up with a comment close to that idiocy.

@Mikemcn: To be honest "Anime is for..." is pretty funny, too soon though.
Always good to know that people can be insensitive enough to say things like this.Always good to know losers like that live near me
That vacant expression in his eyes make me think he was drugged out of of his head in those videos, probably anti-depressants. Maybe he stopped taking them?
@Mikemcn: I just watched the video he posted a week ago. It gave me a chill, and all he was talking about was his new job...

No, why would it be?
Neat hat though.

There is a youtube comment by that guy that is very similar to yours.
Very similar? IDENTICAL. Either that guy saw his comment on giant bomb or he saw the comment on youtube. This calls for some detective work. Investigation team go!@Cloudenvy said:

Weird, I have an extension that blocks Youtube comments though. Funny coincidence I guess.
As others have mentioned in his earlier video's he does seem to have a lot more emotion, clearly something happened somewhere along the line. Also he has a few video's up where he's just flat on shooting bottles under a bridge... is that legal in America? Cause if not that should maybe have been a warning sign to some of his viewers.
It's a sad story. My understanding is that when most people read those, they don't first respond by thinking "Man, what a loser!".@DonutFever: He's supposed to be sensitive towards a guy who murdered his entire family for no reason?

Of course it is, this is America
I mean, it depends on where he lives but yeah its probably legal because america does not believe in strict gun control
How can you say that this came out of nowhere? From just 10 minutes of browsing his channel he has several videos of him acting with real guns, often times acting like he's shooting people or a characters from an anime, and from the looks of things in a less than isolated forest area. Sure I have the hindsight of knowing that he actually is mentally disturbed, but you can't say that your surprised a guy this weird, and awkward, with tons of guns ended up being a serial killer.
The way most "experts" look for warning signs concerning dangerous sociopaths is ineffective at best. They categorize people with emotional disconnects as the ticking time bombs, while over looking your normal emo's. The normal guy is much more likely to snap in a heated emotional exchange than said sociopath. Emotional swings only increase in intensity the more a person has them. Letting ones emotions out on a regular basis only makes the problem worse, contrary to popular belief. Strong emotions must be understood, and defused with logic to keep from being pent up, and released in a tragedy such as this. I wish people would put an end to this kind of domestic violence by having a greater understanding of the workings of the human mind.
So some sleuthing has pointed me to more news clips. Supposedly he confessed that he killed his folks/brother so they wouldn't have to find out that he was going to shoot up a school. Pretty messed up.
@NekuCTR: Technically speaking, he's not a serial killer. But, to a degree, and with a little extrapolation on my part, I certainly feel that you should always pay attention to any behavioural or emotional abnormalities when dealing with family members or friends. Obviously, not to the point of invasiveness or authoritativeness, but just enough to show that you care.
It's hard to comment on stories like these. It's too easy to say "Well, obviously America needs stricter gun laws," but he could have just as easily used another weapon. There's no simple answer in understanding why people murder. Finding any one answer will just lead to hurtful stigmas being associated with Trey Sesler's interests. You've heard them before - maybe he played violent video games, watched violent anime, listened to heavy metal, and suffered from depression. But not everyone who plays violent games, watches violent anime, listens to heavy metal, and has depression is going to commit murder.
