I am asking this because I have had this debate with many people. Eggs with or without ketchup seem to gross people out one way or another. People who normally eat eggs with ketchup do not seem to be able to swallow an egg without it, and people who eat eggs without ketchup can't even bite into an egg with ketchup on it! So, Giant Bomb community, what say you?

Both.

Scrambled = salt + pepper + shredded cheese + ketchup.
Omelette = salt + pepper + cheese.
Hard boiled = salt + pepper.

I dont see how eggs can be eaten without ketchup.  Does that mean you eat a Egg McMuffin without ketchup?  no thank you.

I find eating eggs with ketchup as appealing as scratching a chalk board with your nails, I don't like it at all.

scrambled = ketchup and/or hot sauce.
fried = hot sauce.
omelette = hot sauce inside with the cheese, and a few dashes on the outside.

I also used to go to a chinese food place that served a traditional diner breakfast, eggs and bacon, and the guys who worked there made a suggestion once; before you break the yolk on your over easy, put some of the red chili paste/sauce, then 2 drops of soya sauce.  It was spicy, salty and awesome I couldn't recommend it more.

Though the colour of yolk, red chili sauce and soy sauce mixed together was a little off-putting.

Ooh that does sound good.  I have heard of people doing this with omelets, perhaps I will do this, too.

While I wouldn't intentionally put it on my eggs, if my ketchup creeps over to my fried eggs on my breakfast plate, it isn't horrible.

When I was a kid I'd eat scrambled eggs with ketchup all the time.  Over the years I've upgraded to using various types of hot sauce on eggs (depending on how I choose to cook the egg).

You need a middle option for people to choose...

Strictly only scrambled eggs. Everything else I just put a pinch of salt or pepper on.

It's ketchup, not catsup

Voted yes, but it depends on how you make the eggs. Also, it's the only thing I use ketchup on.

Yes: fried, scrambled, boiled.  All deserve this tasty condiment.

It IS gross... and it annoys me everytime I see the intro for Dexter.

I cook my eggs on frying pans so that the yellow center is still liquid. I also fry up some bacon, have in on bread and use the yellow "goo" as butter :D so good!
