Why would you have to trash talk it?, the new site looks better than it does currently, that's for sure, even if it's functionality for the most part is the same.
This thread has not been created for that reason, it's for people to pass on their genuine thoughts. Mine are that this redesign means crap ultimately. While I have many friends on GS I at the same time dislike some reviewers and staff with good reason. It's gone down the hill fast.
Many have become displeased with GS in recent months, and not solely
down to the departures. There have been notable appointments to the
staff that have upset many also, especially one in particular. That person
being appointed was the final straw for them, while for others it was a
good thing, lol. In recent weeks I have found it pretty disgusting how
members have been verbally abusing this person on site, some of it via
external links that have been shocking. I like the
person myself but I do acknowledge that Gamespot have opened themselves
wide open to the criticisms by this persons appointment.
Why?, well because there are many on Gamespot that would love to enter videogame journalism, they have a vast knowledge of games that has come about through a obsessive love. Sadly for them though their tits are not big enough.
