So I was cruising around with my friends, and I was all like "Hey doods, let's ghost ride the whip", so we did, and it was awesome.

For the uninformed "Ghost-Riding the whip" is the act of finding an abandoned street, and finding some loud-ass rap music. You then come to a stop, and put the car in neutral, then everyone opens the doors and exits the car, gangsta' dancin' around and on top of the car as it goes down the street, then, before you reach the end, you jump back in and speed off.

It was the greatest thing ever.

And for legal reasons, I was just kidding about this entire thing, and would NEVER do that.

See the thing that annoys me is that white people legitimately think that black people do stuff like this. Rap music, gansta dancing, "whip".

No offense to you at all. I know you didn't make it up. Like I said, it just annoys me when people stereotype black people out to be some crazy, rap music loving people.

Yeah, they might floss a little bit. But this is extremely exaggerated. All I'm saying. I'm not claiming to know it all. All I'm saying is I'm sure I know WAY more black people then the OP (I'm not bragging, just stating facts) so it pains me when they ALL get stereotyped as ghost riders.

@Player1: You should probably read the original post again...all he did was explain what ghost riding was, he didn't make any generalizations or use any stereotypes at all. In fact, you were the first one to even mention ethnicity or how many black friends you have.

Note how I said, no offense to you at all. I wasn't mad at the OP at all. I clearly stated that I was upset with the person who made it up.

I wrongly figured a white person made it up, I didn't realize it was a music video. If I would have known that, I wouldn't have thought it was slightly racist at first.

Sorry guys. I was wrong. But what I'm not wrong about is that the majority of white americans see black people as gun shooting "ganstas" who listen to rap music, and drive slowly past there house pumping bass. I've just been annoyed that STILL I will see mad tv skits with white people acting "ghetto". And still I will hear white kids use the N word and laugh because they think they are acting "black". And there is also still racial profiling going on out there. Sorry rant over.

I love how the topic I made suddenly turned into a giant racial stereotyping argument.

Not that it matters, but I live pretty close to south-side chicago, so saying I don't know a lot of black-people is an ignorant statement on your part.

Also, why the hell does it matter?
