I'm 15 years old.

I'm a dude.

And I have a soft spot for love stories.

Just watched Let the Right One In (a horror\romance centered on the subject of vampires), and I have to say, I found it to be an excellent movie. My emotions are in freaken knots when I watch a relationship unfold like the one in this movie...feel like a wuss... (lets get one thing streight though, Twilight is a movie I found to be utter shit).

This natural feeling of mine is what makes me love games like Final Fantasy X, not just for it's great gameplay really, but the story really clasps onto me.

Is anyone else on GB like this?

Yeah I like love stories too, Moulin Rouge is one of my favorite movies of all time.

I suggest you to watch Shiki-jitsu, a very awesome but twisted love story.

I'm a little bitch if a love story tugs at my heart strings, but it's not easy to find anything genuinely touching that doesn't fall into some cliched archetype or at least does something interesting with it.

Who isn't a sucker for a good love story? I know I am. Doesn't matter what language, or lack of, that it is in.

Love story? If it involves sex and blood than cool (Hopefully not in the same scene). Like... A crime mystery with love.

How about Deadpool and Siryn?
Kinda sucks how Vanessa screwed that up :(
Another carcrash on Wade's road to redemption.

EVERY great story has a good romance in it. Especially movies in the sci-fi genre.

I can't wait to see AVATAR because its supposed to be a really great love story.

I only like love stories when they're well done and interesting, like in Slumdog Millionaire.

I totally agree.  I however absolutely hate when movies try to force in a love story when that isn't the focus of the movie at all.  A huge number of adventure movies are guilty of this.

Pearl Harbor couldn't even be saved by Alec Baldwin.

And lo and behold, it's a Michael Bay flick.

I am exactly the same save the age part. I love a good love story. I am always rooting for the lovers and when tragedy strikes it always angers me beyond belief.

Exsqueeze me?
Deadpool's road to redemption was the entire crux of the Deadpool first story arc in the regular series back a decade or so ago with the Mithras and the promise that he could rise from being a mere mercenary and the savior of mankind, proving to himself and Siryn that he can change.
The despondent look on Wade's face (Well, mess ofa  face if you will) when he was told it was essentially another hit after being built up for such a long time was heartbreaking. Then the massive guilt trip laid on him after what eventually happened with the Mithras, his friendships with Weasel an dBlind Al going astray and T-Ray still messing up his life was just another one of life's fuck you's to Wade. And the eventual conclusion of the back and forth teasing between Siryn and Wade over the years had a pretty heartbreaking conclusion with Wade getting fucked over AGAIN!

@TeflonBilly:  Well, if you put it that way yes, but even after all that I doubt he can ever become a true hero. Anti-heroes are cooler anyways.

If Hideaki Anno is directing, twisted has to be a prerequisite.  I really wanted to see him finish "His and Her Circumstances" too.  (Which it looks like he was working on a few years before Shiki-jitsu before that got derailed.)

And Verdugo, you're definately not alone there's probably more people that think like you than would admit it freely.  I still try to hunt down a good romance every now and then for a change of pace and a nice piece of escapism...

Homo-eroticism and gun fetishism counts just about.
