I have a friend who has a lot of female friends. He often goes out to clubs to hang out and talk to people to make friends with. I think he's over 20 and he's still a virgin. He says it doesn't really interest him because he's not into that kind of stuff...to be honest, he told me that he barely masturbates as well.

Lately though, he met some new people and they found out he's a virgin and he's made fun for it. So he wants to know if he's doing the right thing.

No, it's not bad. It's up to the person. I mean if he's comfortable with it, then let him. But if he's scared to have sex or something, because of his inexperience, maybe he needs help just starting out. He could just be saying the "I'm not interested in that stuff" as an excuse since he's insecure with his sexual experience. Because if he doesn't start now, it'll just be harder to find a girl as years go by.

So no, it's not bad or good. Neutral. It is what it is.

He is. He really doesn't do it often. At most it's maybe every other day for a week. Just busy with work, friends and studying...or video games.

Depending on what his friends have said to him he should consider getting some new ones and move on. His so called friends sounds like jerks.

It's easy to make fun of anyone over the age of 17 who's a virgin. However, that doesn't make his new friends not dicks. A guy's allowed to go out with female friends and not sleep with them, bu it's weird that he's never been introduced to somebody. Him saying he's not "into it" sounds more like a self-issue. He's most likely not confident, he could think he's ugly, small penis, or believe he'll under-perform. He should find a girl who's sexually inexperienced.

That kind of situation is a personal decision of each person. Its up to your friend and the person his girlfriend or boyfriend when the time comes and they what to take that next step in their relationship. (Asuming he is in one right now.)
