Who says that you have to have sex to have before a certain age. The problem is that the all of our entertainment outlets lean so heavily on sex that we are trained to think that we have to have sex with almost anyone we date. But for some people sex is much more personal than just a good time, some people look for a deep connection with someone else before introducing sex into the relationship. It is not a bad thing for your friend to still be virgin, if anything it shows a self control that so many people lack. Plus, who wants a club girl that will so easily say yes to sex, all that shows is that you are not anything but another good time for her, nothing more.

There is nothing wrong with being a virgin, but there is also nothing wrong with not being a virgin. Now if your friend is a virgin because he isn't that interested in sex, then good for him, some people have a lower sex drive and he shouldn't feel pressured. On the other hand if your friend is a virgin but does want sex, well then you have a problem, being lonely sucks.

There are some, less than obvious reasons to have sex though. While the most obvious benefit to sex is sex it can also help develop a stronger relationship with a person and help a person's self confidence. Awhile ago me and partner started having sex and I can say one the best things about it is that it removes all that pressure and myth around it. Neither of us were very experienced so while it wasn't always perfect what was great was that we talked and communicated about it and because of that the sex got amazing. I guess my advice would be that sex gets better when you and your partner start to know each other better. Sex the Myth the is awkward and stressful, Actual Sex is a lot of fun.

Not necessarily, I agree with Godwind. There was this girl who was all over me when she found out that I was a virgin. She thought it was sweet that I didn't "take advantage of a girl" or anything, and she said it turned her on for her to know that she might be my first.

Long story short, I'm still a virgin (19 years old, it's not like i'm in my 50s or something). Yes I did have a girl who wanted me, badly and I did nothing about it.
But whatevs, I wasn't really feeling her, and I ironically didn't have a great sex drive back then like I do now.

Nothing wrong with it. I think it's honorable. I'm kind of disgusted with my generation and it's Girls Gone Wilds and garbage like that. Everything is about sex with us young adults, today, and it just bothers me so much. Sex has always been something I treasured, and took pretty seriously. I'll never understand how a person is capable of just giving it away to anything cute thing in a short skirt that walks by.
