Just full of snarky, trolling manchildren on a board run by snarky, trolling manchildren. You can have the most poignant, thought provoking, and conversationally stimulating topic in the world, but you'll always get replies in this arena: "Why is there a thread about this?" "Cool story bro" "Lock this thread" or something else equally facetious or condescending.....and you'll get modded too if you reply to it.
@RockmanBionics: Some people call it "whining"...I call it venting. And mimicking is just showing how shallow a lot of peoples' sense of humor is. Though I'm sure they are having a good laugh about how original and inventive they are...lol.

Anyhow, no one is going to take some unknown users word for being the one unfairly treated, rather than being the one who acted stupid, and got a fair backlash. You'll just set yourself up for more ridicule.
If you need to vent, go out and punch some trees instead.
@GreyCommander: It happens everywhere, man. Some people post that stuff even if your thread has something meaningful to say just because they think it's funny. Internet anonymity doesn't help the situation either. It shouldn't stop you from posting meaningful things though if you want to share or discuss something though; you gotta take the bad with the good. If you don't like posting there anymore, however, maybe you should take your stuff elsewhere.
Wait, GameSpot is better than Giant Bomb at being snarky assholes? This is something unforgivable. Something that must be corrected. Giant Bomb was designed to be better than GameSpot in every single way. This must happen. We need to make the proper changes to make GB better, even if that means making it worse.
While your frustration might be understandable, there's no need to create a thread bashing other sites around here and risk unnecessary flame wars. I'm sure Gamespot has their reasons, flawed or legitimate, for the way they allow their userbase to conduct itself.
