Gonintendo.com is a blog site that is dedicate to Nintendo 100%(posting new updates on anything that relates to Nintendo). Recently they posted Jeff's review of The Conduit, which receive 2 out of 5. I, myself own this game and I totally agree with Jeff. If you own only a Wii and is craving for a FPS, buy this title. I honestly think that no one, is in this situation. Anyways, Gonintendo's users are bashing Jeff for his review. I personally know a few Nintendo fanboys. Majority of those fanboys are like kids that always think they're right, when most of the time they're wrong. Sure are, but there's also a lot of people defending Jeff. Interesting read though, thanks for the link. :-)

I love how people act like the online is the king of all online shooters - and yet Nintendo does absolutely nothing about cheating, therefore in my opinion making the online a lost cause and not even fun.

Why does anyone even care? These guys are on a forum dedicated to loving the Wii. Notice most of the comments complain about issues Jeff clearly talks about in the written review. Judging by most of their grammar and spelling though, most of them probably don't read much.

I saw a trailer for The Conduit and it looked alright I guess. Fanboys are so annoying, especially Nintendo fanboys. They bothered Jeff in 2006 because he gave Zelda a 8.8 which is a really good score and Jeff pointed out really noticeable issues the game has. I guess Nintendo fanboys feel that any game with Zelda in the title automatically gets at least a 9.5.

What gave me a chuckle how they say Jeff didn't play the whole game - then admit they stopped watching at a certain point. Jeff even says at the end some of the elements are alright - the game just falls flat as whole.

I don't understand their need to even care this much about what a reviewer thinks. There were plenty of positive, or at least mildly positive reviews on the game, why don't they just focus on those?

That's pretty tame compared to what happened to this guy at GamePro. Read those comments, all 28 pages worth. That review even pissed me off. It wasn't the score, which I could care less about, but the contempt of the review and the fact it was all over the place. Jeff's review was just a far better review. Straight up and about the game, plus some wisdom thrown in for good measure.

Fanboy freakout? Most have a valid, civil beef with it, like the control issues which even bad reviews praised, yet Jeff somehow found problematic. Even from the quick look it was obvious that Jeff just couldn't do shit in it, while whoever took over after the first half fared much better, and should probably review it instead as, even with a score just as bad, you wouldn't have ridiculous claims. This is similar to the GamePro incident where they received huge backlash and claimed it was thanks to fanboys, when G4 scored the game even worse yet received none of the backlash since their review actually made sense. You have a problem with people stating their opinion or something? Sure, there are fanboys as well there, but to pretend it's a situation any worse than you can find here (or perhaps on PS360 fansites?) in regards to any system is quite silly. Not to mention this isn't a Nintendo game, I could understand if it was a bad review of Metroid Prime 3 but this is a SEGA title so I don't see your reasoning of Nintendo fanboys being the ones who defend it. Wii gamers somehow enjoy shit is what you're trying to say, or what? Pointless thread is pointless, created just to bash a particular website, community, gamer type, or whatever, even though some people defended Jeff. This fanboy freakout is no different to the comments seen on even "neutral" websites like GameTrailers when they slam any platform's hyped game.
