10/10.

Artful camerawork, a compelling, interesting story, great acting and a 10 minute long orgy scene. PERFECT MOVIE.
"
I actually have to agree, this movie gets too much undeserved hate, plus you get to see LeeLee Sobieski naked. =)

Partly naked.

If I saw her naked, I would remember . . .

Cannibal: The Musical -
5/5 stars.  Brilliant early work by Trey Parker and Matt Stone.  If you can find it, check it out.

Harold and Kumar 2-
4/5 stars.  These get a lot of hate where I'm from, but for good ol' stupid, easy laughs, I enjoyed the heck out of the two H&K movies and throw them in now and again.

It makes sense when it's LeeLee Sobieski being discussed. She can mess with your head, maaaaaaan.

Like your orgies, do you?
I'd recommend ~Perfume: the Story of a Murderer~.
Love that movie.

*****

The orgy was the weakest part in my opinion though, and it should have been one of the strongest.

I have actually been to the house where they filmed that orgy, it's a stately home called Luton Hoo. It's not far from where a friend of mine lives, so we took a trip down there one day..

All the locations in that film are fake, it was made in London for the most part.

yea that's right, I called a jrpg a film, want to fight about it?

nah... they really aren't.  They're more comparable to animes.  That being said, the best thing I've watched is death note, and anime.  Some of my favorite films are anime movies in fact.

Could you sense the hotness still lingering in the house?

Wall-E --> 10/10

I have seen it during the summer, but I just saw it again on beautiful Blu-Ray disc and it is one of the best movies of the decade. Sweet, funny, aesthetically pleasing, sad, up-lifting and just plain amazing.

Frost/Nixon.

The acting was competent, but it was pretty anticlimactic.

For how old it is and how bad the special effects are, I actually enjoyed it a lot.  It was funny and kind of exciting.
Old Sci Fi movies usually bore me, but this one was pretty good.

I watched that this week too.  I thought it was kinda boring though.  The pacing was horrible.

I must've missed all that in between Japanese people being eaten in someone's front yard and a dood transforming into a goat because he fucked a goat.  =  /

Well yeah it was I thought it was crazy and funny, but apart from a couple of scenes the rest of the movie made me want to take a nap.

I totally agree. I kept waiting for the moment when I would see something new...but it never came.

It never came.

Also the last movie I saw was Almost Famous again and I give it:

*****

Awesome movie, I would recommend it to anyone.

Uncut edition or regular, because I definitely prefer the uncut version.

X- Men 3: The Last Stand

***

Decent movie, nowhere near as good as the first two, the story was crappy and Rattner didn't know how to handle so many characters or give them enough time to develop like Singer did in the others, plus some of the actors were really bad. Kelsey Grammer as Beast and Hugh Jackman coming back as Wolverine were the best parts of the movie.

Darjeeling Limited - 1 out of 5 stars.
Completely pretentious garbage, though at least it was a little more focused than The Royal Tenenbaums.  Not nearly on the level of The Life Aquatic, which I actually did like.  Great movie to pop on if you've got a house full of guests you desperately want to get the hell out, and the DVD should make a fine coaster.  Other than that, this film has no goddamn merit.

The Darwin Awards - 3 out of 5 stars
Fun movie with great potential that's never really realized.  Winona Ryder is as cute as ever, and the late great Chris Penn stole the show in his minor role.  The movie bogged a little in its third act, but overall, it's good stuff.

Traitor - 7ish/10

It was a solid thriller that kept me engrossed, though there wasn't really anything special in it that made it stand out.

Ditto.
I've only seen it once, and really liked it.  That was probably way back when it first came out on dvd.

Rushmore 9.5/10
The Wackness 8.5/10

The Wackness was kind of like a gritty version of Juno (in a way, not story related).... also It didnt suck that much
Plus it's kinda similar to Charlie Bartlett
And Rushmore was one of the best movies i've ever seen

EDIT: a few notes on The Wackness' cast
Josh Peck was actually great (IMHO)
Method Man as a Jamaican was pretty funny and brought flashes of a more understandable Little Jacob
Ben Kingsley's role was perfect in many ways in a Robert Downey Jr. Kind of way
