Jeff came from gamespot. The mods and rules suck but the forums are laid out awesome. I have tried out alot of forums and for some reason GS seems the best laid out. I am really suprised the layout here is so shitty.

The layout is pretty unique. I like it. No sig clutter, avatars are unique and identifying, posts are informative.
My only problem is the game forums- they aren't prominent enough, and everything is aggregated into the general discussion or the console discussions. That changes a bit for the most popular games (see sidebar) but it can still be a little disappointing.

I like them the way they are but soon enough You will probly have banner at the left of the screen, one on top and one on the bottom.

Hopefully they will do something to make the forums a little better organized, but it's not too bad right now.

GiantBomb is not Gamespot, and it should never try to be. If you want a better community, come here, if you want a better layout, go to Gamespot. Personally, I don't think an un-attractive layout is something that should make you leave. It's more fun and free here. You can speak your mind without having to worry about being moderated. To me, that's infinitely more important than a bad layout.

I don't like GB layout but I like that mods here aren't assholes, and the community is pretty good, but I have to admit I enjoyed posting more over GS, specially on SW.

This is just fine. No need for changes. Most people, as a few have admitted, think that GS was only more fun to post in because of System Wars. But I'm sure we can still come up with many arguments / flame wars.

I really hope that they are just working on it. Personally I would like to see a much more organized and cleaner forum like gamespot has as well. Maybe give them the fall to work on it.

As another user just pointed out, Giant Bomb is still in Beta. If you want the forums to be better, not posting stuff like this would be a great start. How about contributing to the community in a positive way?
