Simple question really: in your dream girl/boy (and to be politically correct the title can also read "same sex") what accent would you choose?
Personally, I can't stand the northern English accent ([it's rate funneh int'it] Manchester/Leeds is bad enough, it gets worse the further up you get). Can't stand Scottish accent. Don't mind Welsh or Irish. I'm quite partial to the London accent ("Rimmel Larrndon. Get the Larrrndon look."). Actually don't mind the scouser accent but... well I wouldn't choose it in my dream lady.
I find the American accent very up and down. I can't speak about specific regions but while I find Scarlett Johansson's voice really sexy, generally I find the American accent somewhat irritating. Of course, not living in USA I'm not clued up on the different types, I'm just going on TV shows and stuff for this. Girlie, girlie voices sound worse in the American accent than any other in my opinion, although to be fair they sound bad enough on English accents.
I'm not a fan of any of the mainland European accents to be honest, although I do think Russians and Eastern Europeans have quite a pretty voice when they're speaking English. Let's not mention the German accent. ;)
But, to conclude, my personal favourite, and dream girl, would have an Australian accent. Gah, the Australian accent gets me horny like no other. Mmmmm....
So how about you guys?
