Xbox live down???

I was just playing left 4 dead with my friends and when we came back to the lobby, i noticed guys "friends" dropping out 1 by 1 without saying, and suddenly i lost connection, then the same to live. I cant log in. There is internet connection and my Xbox suggest i open ports in my router which is crap since its already completly open. So i ask, has anyone else bin logged off live suddenley recentley?

Looks like it may be down, tried logging in on xbox.com and it tells me the server is busy.

this is what your $50 a year goes to. I was in a halo match and it was very laggy at the end of the match could not get to a other game. I was still on live until I turned it off just now.

Yeah its happening in Australia aswell i just finished a halo wars match and me and my friends got kicked off 1by1

Funny. Live tends to be stable, from what I hear.

Also your name wouldn't be a name to the 40K Chaos God, would it?

It is hapning in NZ to I am trying to play some co-op in re 5 and got droped last time we got a free game , undertow I wonder what we will get this time.

Looks like the whole service is down. Xbox Gamercards embedded on other webpages are just showing question marks at the moment (if they're the Xbox.xom version and not the MyGamercard.net version)

isint the entire piont of live to have a universal login making a konami id obslete? and i thought the mgs4 game was rumored to be MGS4 oxide

EA has a registeration system, though not a unique ID like konami stuff has so i doubt microsoft will let them do a unique id seperate from the gamertag.

Loging in twice would be anoying its bad enough on some pc games where you have to be loged into steam and windows live at the same time.
