@pornstorestiffi: Huh, I never got the Great Unclean One in my campaign runs, oh well. Do you play the Pvp?
No haven't played PvP, only been sticking with the SP part of things. Always wanted to play some co-op in the Warhammer titles, but never got around to it.@pornstorestiffi: Huh, I never got the Great Unclean One in my campaign runs, oh well. Do you play the Pvp?
I would say yes, but here's some things that may help you decide:@BeachThunder: @Ahmad_Metallic: Is Far Cry 2 worth 20€ on steam? So bored ;_;
- Are you interested in exploring a huge open world environment whilst collecting a large arsenal of weapons?
- Have you played Borderlands? If not, then I would personally recommend that over Far Cry 2.
- Are you interested in a huge time sink? I'm guessing that completing every single mission in the game would take ~100 hours. (I assume that's a yes judging by your "So bored" comment...)
- The game is really impressive visually, so make sure that you will you be able to run the game with decent settings.
- Are you likely to get frustrated by random encounters and enemies respawning after a relatively short amount of time? (Some people have a huge issue with this.)
- Are you like to get annoyed by traveling long distances between missions? (...same as above...)
- Are you expecting the game to, at all, be related to the original Far Cry? Because it has absolutely nothing to do with it. Whatsoever.

You forgot the part where all the AI in the game are hostiles who will immediately rain bullets on you the moment they spot you, and where even travelers you run into hop out of their cars and fill your keep full of lead?
Also, dead precise AI snipers
@BeachThunder said:Yup, everyone wants to kill you (yes, specifically, you), even tourists just casually crusing around in their sedans want you dead >_>@Sjupp said:I would say yes, but here's some things that may help you decide: *Snip*@BeachThunder: @Ahmad_Metallic: Is Far Cry 2 worth 20€ on steam? I haven't had that much trouble with snipers, though.
Anyway, I know you're not so keen on the game, but ultimately I would say it's is more good than it is bad.
I think it all boils down to this:@Ahmad_Metallic said:

Do you have the patience and the balls to play in the most hostile human environment in a video game and come out on top? Then you'll love the game because it really looks and feels god damned amazing. If you don't, the constant ass fucking will kill the game for you.
@pornstorestiffi: I don't recognize any of the 3 screens. same game/different games? which one(s) ?
Edit: Is it splinter cell? Doesn't look like Chaos Theory or Double Agent to me

Double agent i believe. The bottom left hand ui crap is what makes me think its DA.

@Mikemcn: EVE looks real good visually, both in videos and screenshots. Too bad the entry barrier for the core gameplay is way over my head. Just seems like it takes too much work, to get to the fun part of it.
Its slowly getting more approachable, CCP have been trying to streamline what little they can without changing the game and pissing off everyone ( For Example, You used to have to level up skills, to get better at leveling up other skills... not anymore), getting the basic skills to fly your ship and run missions isn't too hard, its learning the hundreds of other gameplay mechanics thats the challenge. There's an unimaginable amount of depth in Eve, so trying to learn everything is almost impossible, going into Eve, you need to pick a path and focus on it for awhile.
Sorry for the Double post... But I played some Soldner- Secret Wars, games HILARIOUS! Driving across a field in a tractor as the ground underneath you caves in from enemy rocket barrages is fantastic. Games got a ton of weapons and vehicles, its basically battlefield for free.It even has destructible enviroments and terrain deformation. However, the shooting is pretty rough, and there are only a few servers, still, it is free.
I just realised at how badly I suck at Sanctum, but at least the enemies are having a good time dancing around with their top hats and cigars :o
If you plug in a 360 controller, the game controls absolutely fine and still looks incredible. Performance is great, even on my mid-range rig and I'm really enjoying the game. Sure, Ubi lying about the DRM was BS and they deserve to be lambasted for not having put much effort into this port, but the core game is good enough to work through these issues which, for me, were hardly game breaking.
I've dealt with far worse PC ports before. This is pretty poor but not exactly the worst out there.
@mrangryface: Yeah, I preordered it also. I wish there was a way to do an execution move from range, as I found shotta boyz hella annoying.
Not too long before i get a GTX 570 and a sandy bridge and start taking some sexy as hell screens
NOT TOO LONG <33333333333

Thing is... not every PC gamer has a 360 controller.But they probably should have some sort of controller if they are serious about games.
Some genres demand it - racers and Action games like Assassin's Creed or any hack and slash of that sort (even Bastion feels a lot more natural with a pad, although aiming with guns is less precise as a trade off). Basically, I just find that any game that includes close range melee and isn't an isometric old school RPG and DA style game just feels more satisfying with a pad. Personal opinion though of course.
Less talk; more screens!
Have a picture of Patricia Tannis looking hot:
Speaking of Wolf..a few action shots which I'm sure you'll appreciate as they show all the visual splendor of this oooold engine..
Look at these sneaky bastards how they're spread across the map. There aren't many of them but there's no health regen either. Of course, for maximum drum and bass you play it on "I'm Death Incarnate" difficulty...while doing a speedrun.
Jesus Bastion makes for some kick ass wallpapers.
Also seeing those Farcry 2 screens made me reinstall it again.
