I think it is pretty entertaining. You always get a bit hyped when they start the countdown and leaving this on while doing something else is not really bothering me. Right now random characters are saying I am getting late (to school) etc. ^^

Yeah, leaving the stream on one window and doing other things while keeping in mind the times for the next events isn't too crazy and I want to see them all. I really hate having missed event 16, for example, seeing as how it was something apparently custom made for this stream.
I want a translation for event 4, everyone seems surprised by that one. So frustrating not knowing Japanese, I'm studying it but I've barely gotten into verbs...

Pepsiman translated event 4 here. Doesn't seem like a scene that occurred in the game itself.
In terms of the plot, not significant, but you would get an insane lecture from him every so often that you'd have to pay attention to to ace the questions. He was also the nurse, and you could visit him when you were tired/sick to get a courage boost.
He also seemed to know far more than he let on when he talked about Personas, Shadows (in relation to Jungian psychology) and the Arcana.
Was it ever confirmed or denied that he worked on Labrys? That he was the Untidy Researcher? They basically looked the same.

Wow, thanks to both of you! I really appreciate the threads, translations, videos and everything else people are doing to make sure no one misses out on any of this. I also don't remember that wine discussion in P4 (unless it's in P4G, which I have not played yet).

Sure thing! Though I have a feeling next thing of any relevance will be in about 11 hours at midnight JST, but we'll see.
@pekoe212: Take it with a grain of salt since I don't feel like verifying it myself, but apparently according to 4chan there's an extra wrinkle added to that bit in that Dojima is apparently in the hospital by the 21st in the game, so you can't even chat with him at all. What that means if anything, who knows, but it might be something to bear in mind for any other weird clips the stream might have like that one.
@pepsiman: Very interesting. I'd like to think they're hinting at a new "vintage" of Persona, i.e. P5. More random wine facts just to screw with us might be hilarious though.
At the clip they're going they're gonna run out of trailers soon...right? I am wondering how they plan to fill these upcoming days.
Well, they have the following games at their disposal:
Persona 3
Persona 3 FES
Persona 3 Portable
Persona 4
Persona 4 Golden
Persona 4 Arena
Persona 4 Arena 2 (a single trailer that's already been used up, however)
Then there are some random gameplay clips like Edogawa's P4G lectures and Marie's poems. That's a whole lot of stuff that I'm not convinced they'll run out of. Even if they do, maybe they just say screw it and recycle.
I'm wondering why no Persona 1 and 2 stuff. They did those PSP remakes and everything.
I think it's simply because P1 and P2 will have no relevance to the upcoming announcements.
Yeah, that's what has me a little worried this new thing might have all these P3 and 4 characters. If it's Persona 5 with a new cast and everything, none of the previous games are relevant, so why limit it to the last two?
Though it could also be because 3 and 4 are just way more well-known at this point or because the new Persona games barely resemble those old ones.
@spunkyhepanda: Yeah, there could be a bunch of reasons as to why it's being handled this way. Perhaps a new P3 and P4 project alongside a separate P5 announcement? It'll be interesting to see how it unfolds.
At this point, if it's Persona 5 and includes old characters, I think it'd be cool if you played as Charlie leading the Investigation Team and the new kid with his new crew. More focus on the new crew when it comes to Social Link stuff and exploring the real world.
