20 Exclusive PS4 titles in the first year. Let's guess here!

Sony has 30 exclusives currently in development for the PS4. Of those, 20 will launch within the first year. These are the ones that have been announced so far:

• Killzone: Shadow Fall (Guerrilla Games)
• Knack (Japan Studio)
• inFAMOUS: Second Son (Sucker Punch)
• #DRIVECLUB (Free with PS+ on day one)
• The Order 1886 (Ready At Dawn's first console game)

Meaning that there's 15 more games to go that Sony has hiding up their sleeves. 12 of the 30 are supposedly new IP's as well (3 have been announced, meaning there's 9 more)...

So let's go nuts with predictions from studios that are under SCEA.

• Media Molecule - already confirmed to be working on a new IP for the PS4. Probably won't make it within the first year if I had to guess
• Naughty Dog - Just released The Last of Us, but are definitely working on their PS4 game with their current engine. I'm guessing not a new IP (return of Jak & Daxter?)
• Polyphony Digital - Working on GT6 at the moment... definitely won't have a PS4 game ready within the first year.
• Bend - Makes PSVita games, might have a chance to be called up like Ready at Dawn was...
• Japan Studio - making Knack, but probably have some other stuff for PS4... Last Guardian has to come out at some point, right? Also I could go for a PSN version of LocoRoco and/or Patapon
• London Studio - I think this one is still alive... Getaway PS4?
• San Diego Studio - MLB: The Show 14
• Santa Monica - I think we're done with God of War for now, right? Maybe a new IP from these guys?
• Liverpool - Another Wipeout for PS4?
• BigBig - Pursuit Force makers... probably a PSN game?
• Q-Games - Pixeljunk guys have to be up to new PSN games by now.
• Quantic Dream - Definitely a new IP for PS4 as soon as their done with Beyond

Any other ideas?

All of the indie games they had on stage were PS4 limited time exclusives at a minimum - so that's probably 8-10 right there.

BigBig was closed after Little Deviants. So they're not making anything.

I believe the indy game segment was to show off how many indie developers have agreed to self publish their games on the PSN store. Sony isn't publishing any of those games (I think) because most of them are on PC as well.

Naughty Dog is definitely working on something for the PS4; they have two separate teams after all. Whether or not said game will be one of the 20 is anybody's guess, although I'm tempted to say we won't be seeing it for a while.

Darn! I was going through a list of 2012 developers.. saddened when I got to Zipper and a few others that I knew were shut down.

Polyphony is probably bringing GT6 to the PS4 as well, right?

@turboman: Guerilla is working on a new IP, they've said it already. Maybe another Ratchet game from Insomniac? Or Resistance 4 from a new team?

They said they might but the focus is on this PS3 version.

@turboman: I doubt they're making only that game. An R&C has to be in the works. Unless they only have 1 team.

Honestly R&C still has a lot of fans from what I can tell. They are just looking for a more "classic" experience none of this co-op only or Allied Assault nonsense. The traditional third person platformer they love would move quite a few units.

They got transitioned into being the PS Eye tech demo studio with Eye Pet which led them to being the PS Move tech demo studio. They're a family friendly casual games studio instead of a big budget AAA studio now. Their most recent stuff is Eye Pet, Wonderbook, Sing Star, Everybody Dance and PS Home. Whatever they are working on is not likely going to be for people who use Giant Bomb.
