Using the trackpad as a mouse for PC gaming in the lounge. - PlayStation 4

Wouldn't it be cool if the PS4 controller was compatable with PCs? You could use the touch pad as a mouse. It would mean you could sit on your couch playing PC games and navigate your whole PC better than with an xbox controller and not need a large keyboard and mouse. I feel like if they don't do it there's a gap in the market for it.

Hopefully you will be able to use it as a mouse on the console anyway, because I hate using analogue sticks for a mouse.

It would be kinda cool, but I doubt they will allow it. Someone will probably find a way to hack it and make it work.

@probablytuna: People have got Windows machines to register the DualShock as an Xbox 360 controller, they almost certainly will hack a way to do it. It won't be official, but still.

Yeah I know, I've used Dualshock 3 to play certain PC games.
