Kotaku just linked this story and video.
Masaya Matsuura uploaded a video of the launch party for UmJammer Lammy. It's from 1999 and around the 23 minute mark a family young face shows up.
Let's never go back to the 90s.

This is...tough to watch.
I bet that Guitar is still in Jeff's museum garage.
I'm almost positive I saw him post pictures of it during the mass reorganizing a couple years ago on his tumblr.

Haha, when that random guy comes onstage to play with Jeff and gets rejected HARD.
I went back and played this game not too long ago, the songs are just as catchy as I remember and kid me had some real struggles on the airplane stage, but I finally cleared it after a few tries this time around
EDIT: watching now, wow at jeff, he is nailing this, got Cool ranking near instantly, even on stage he is a real lammy :-)

Yes, of course I still have that Umjammer Lammy guitar. I’m pretty sure I actually have two.

Also, the 90s really were weird times. I can't believe I grew up during those days.
@demoskinos: The thing that makes me fear for mankind is that if we haven't already gone past it at some point there'll be a 90's resurgence.
@jesus_phish: Last weekend I saw a wall size advert on the London underground promoting women's clothing 'Inspired by the 90s'.
Also Robot Wars is coming back to TV. Fucking ROBOT WARS. The resurgance has begun, at least in the UK.
Besides the facial hair he almost kinda looks the same. (maybe i'm exaggering but he's aged well in any case)
