New TF2 items hint at "Poker Night at the Inventory 2"

In a regular update for Team Fortress 2, several new items have been added into the games inventory. These items have strings that hint towards PN2:

So, these items should be healthy hints towards the cast of the next game.

I don't understand why "pn2" is a healthy hint. Seems like a jumped conclusion.

What do these items have anything to do with a Poker Night 2?

Samson Skewer is a good Venture Bros reference. Also this might actually be a new Poker Night. That Dapper Disguise looks an awful lot like Handsome Jacks Mask. Maybe he's in it? Still wouldn't say it's definitive proof.

Three little factors to consider:

1. All these items are listed as being promotional rewards for the one game "PN2".

2. PAX (the event in which the first Poker Night was revealed) is little over a week away.

3. TF2 distributed promotional items for the original Poker Night and has a healthy relationship with Telltale.

So Brock Samson, Sam from Sam and Max, Handsome Jack, a PA reference (probably the return of Tycho?) or a Precipice reference I'm not getting, and Chell from Portal?

Really don't know how I'd feel about Chell spouting one-liners. Or talking at all.

Maybe Chell will have Potato Glados with her.

@discoman: Now you see, I saw the foot springs and immediately thought Chell, but never considered that fifth slot being either Glados or Wheatley.

Necronomicrown puzzles me, but maybe because I haven't played "PA."

PA is Penny Arcade. I'm not sure what the Necronomicrown is in Penny Arcade so I'm gonna say I hope it's actually from Evil Dead and Ash is in this game and voiced by Bruce Campbell.

Necronomicrown is from Evil Dead, it's design is straight out of one of the movies(Evil Ash wears it), and the item's description explicitly references those movies. Ash is totally in it.

I cannot believe how excited I am over a sequel to a poker game, of all things. Looks like we'll get to pick our opponents this time, which should make for a metric crapton of dialog.

The lack of a Homestar Runner character would be disappointing, but not surprising, I guess.

I still play the original.

I still want to have Lee in this so he can depress everyone with all his stories.
