PSN Play 2014 Games Announced

• July 29th: Rogue Legacy (Normal price: $16.99. PS+ price: $13.59)
• August 5th: The Swapper (Normal price: $19.99. PS+ price: $15.99)
• August 12th: Hohokum (Normal price: $14.99. PS+ price: $11.99)
• August 19th: CounterSpy (Normal price: $14.99. PS+ price: 11.99)

Of course, if you buy 2 games you get 3$ back, 3 games 6$, all four 10$. All games are cross-buy. This is the best PSN Play they have ever pulled off in my opinion, and with Oddworld coming out July 22nd, The Last of Us Remastered the next week, and Metrico coming out August 12th... yeah. Get your wallets ready, people.

Hmm... I'm still not sure if Hohokum is going to be worth it, but I'll be buying at least two out of the four.

I'm just waiting for Shadow Warrior to port on the ps4.

They get me every year. I already own The Swapper, but oddly enough I may buy it again.

Those prices have to be wrong, right? That's more for rogue legacy/the swapper than when they first released on pc

Counter Spy and Hohokum are the ones I'm most likely to pick up. I don't really have a reason to get the other two since I already own them on pc.

Vita versions don't seem to be in store and Rogue Legacy doesn't seem to mention anything about cross-buy on the store page. Am I crazy?

@deathtrap: Already pre-ordered. It's cross-buy. They also mention in the Play 2014 that all four games are cross-buy and cross-save.

I'm always happy to see more games come to the Ps4, whether I've already played them or not.

I reckon I'll buy Rogue Legacy again for the PS3/PS4. Don't have any real interest in tThe Swapper, but I'll check out the others.

Will Rogue Legacy have trophy support? It must, right? That would be reason enough for me to play the game again. I never did finish it on PC.

I just preordered Rogue Legacy and will probably buy The Swapper.

Found a gamespot video of CounterSpy in this thread. I'll need to see how much the procedural level design is repetitive or fun.

Rogue Legacy is a maybe. Gonna have to pass on the others.

Yeah, I actually decided against buying both because of the prices. I own Swapper on PC already and thought about double dipping. Was shocked when it was $20. The game is 5 hours long and available as part of a Humble Bundle at some point. I may pick up Rogue Legacy but I doubt I'll play it anytime soon so I could also wait until the next Steam sale and pick it up for $3.75. The game comes out the exact day as Last of Us.

I hate to be one of those people that gripes about a few dollars but on principle I can't pay more for a year old game that is cheaper on PC. I hope this is not the beginning of a nasty trend or some type of backlash to all the games that Sony is offering "free" on PS Plus. However, Hohokum was a preorder for me, exclusive game, looks rad, and the right price. That's what we need more of.

Definitely gonna pick up Rogue Legacy. Maybe Counterspy as well if it's supposed to be any good. Looks neat, that's for sure. Hohokum looks cool so that's also a maybe. Not really too interested in The Swapper, though.

Adding them all up with the PS+ prices they're about 54 bucks and with the $10 back they average out to about 11 bucks a piece. That's not bad for 4 cross-buy games. I may have to bite on this. I do think the price on The Swapper and Rogue Legacy are priced a bit too high though since they were both 14.99 when they came out on pc. I guess the fact that you get the PS4, PS3, and the Vita versions are their reason for the higher price.

Yes. All games that release on PSN must have trophy support.

This is great, I'll probably end up picking up all 4 and then probably put the "saved" cash towards Oddworld...so so many PSN titles...

I was expecting cheaper, especially after PSN just had a $0.99 sale a week or so ago.

Been waiting for Rogue Legacy, so I'm getting that. Also, I think I've decided to grab CounterSpy. The Swapper and Hohokum seem interesting, so I probably will get them one day.

Public Service Announcement: Those discount prices are for pre order only. And I'm not sure when they'll actually update the store with Rogue Legacy, so if you wanted to buy that and have ps plus I would get on that soon.

Also, anyone know if rogue legacy will hit tonight or do we have to wait until sometime later tomorrow?
