Spiritual Successor to Ultima on the Way?

Lord British himself hopped onto the countdown live-stream for Chris Robert’s Star Citizen Kickstarter today to chit chat it up. During his appearance, he mentioned that he is looking to create a new Ultima game, with or without the license from EA. I would enjoy seeing what he can do using crowd funding to bring back the Avatar. Here is hoping we hear more sooner than later.
