I just spent the last 2 or so hours on here. I did terrible, the game is really rough on you. I guess my dreams of a mountain fortress has to wait for now.
Any europeans tried to connect to any of the servers mentioned? How is your ping? Considering buying the game, but really don't want to play this solo. Seems like absolutely no fun what so ever.

Off to a good start so far! I can (and would like to) give a few duders some controls to keep the server in check. If you're in a timezone that isn't Australian evenings, will be playing a bit and feel like helping, PM me.

I'll keep an eye out! The mod community is pumping out content, and the game is being updated frequently.

I might have a server for you USterners out there if you have trouble with the Australian one. Wouldn't want to split the community up, though, so only switch if you're having a lot of lag trouble with CharlieBoom's. Plus, it won't be up for a week or two. Just throwin' that out there.

That's funny you mention hunger games, every day there's an airdrop you can see from pretty far away that results in a cornucopia-esque mad rush for supplies that more then likely ends with a lot of death. We're a lot friendlier on the GB server.

My mountain fortress is still underways. Today I had the bright idea of adventuring far out. I got killed by a zombie and spent the day searching for my things that I never found. Such is the game of Rust.

Welp some douche broke in killed me and stole a bunch of stuff while I was logged out. Then as I was running around trying to find more crap some alert on my computer alttabbed me out right near a zombie and I died. Then as I was trying to find that stuff I started lagging and died again. Then I was trying to find other stuff lag killed me again, this time it was bears.
In short, my feeling right now is Rust can bite me.
