I like how everyone is just reacting to this without providing any goddamn context, as though we're all supposed to instinctively know what this is about.

#15 Posted by big_jon (6117 posts) -

Ha! I don't even know what this is in reference to but I know pappa bear is smiling somewhere in space heaven!

#16 Posted by DrDarkStryfe (1267 posts) -

@hailinel: Jimmy Kimmel does a skit where actors and sports types will read mean tweets about themselves. on his show. So millions just watched this.

Does he realize that the person behind that Twitter account is dead? Because this just looks like it's part of a larger bit; not that he's specifically honoring Ryan Davis on live TV.

#19 Posted by TheHT (12271 posts) -

haha, i think that's the segment where they have actors read nasty tweets about themselves. amazing.

Vine

Well, already done but w/e

#21 Edited by DrDarkStryfe (1267 posts) -

@video_game_king: Yeah, it isn't some honor. It is just an insane coincidence that a tweet Ryan made a couple years ago gets read on national television.

Kimmel does this segment where he has celebrities read derogatory tweets about themselves.

Ask and ye shall receive. Classic @taswell. Just classic.

This is so fucking awesome. Not only was it on Kimmel, but Mark Ruffalo read it. Fantastic

They likely have no idea. Nothing about Ryan's Twitter account indicates his passing. Whoever decided to use the tweet probably just did a general search for Mark Ruffalo-related tweets and found that one among the more amusing.

#26 Posted by RonGalaxy (3576 posts) -

Here is the mark ruffalo face in question

Crazy that he made that tweet over 2 years ago. Miss you Ryan.

#32 Posted by Stonyman65 (3013 posts) -

Ryan would be losing his shit right now. Wherever he is, I'm sure he's smiling right now.

#34 Posted by anbilow (170 posts) -

Weird combination of happy and sad going on right now, he would have loved that :/

Love Ryan Davis.

#35 Posted by ILikePopCans (816 posts) -

I wonder when thinking about Ryan will not automatically make tears.

Miss you man

#36 Posted by Trilogy (2702 posts) -

Ryan was, and somehow manages to still be, one magical motherfucker. Ugh, I seriously miss that dude.

#37 Edited by TruthTellah (9630 posts) -

This is exactly the kind of absurd thing Ryan loved. I'm guessing he's rolling on the floor in heaven tonight.

#38 Posted by Geurge (108 posts) -

nothing i can say can represent any feeling anyone had for ryan davis

this video, this tweet. hit so deep.

#39 Posted by wjb (1754 posts) -

I appreciate the turnaround, but the best part is when the celebrity reacts and the audience laughs. The Vine cuts out.

#40 Posted by ragintaft (53 posts) -
