I've been sad all week but hadn't wept yet. This did it. I needed the release, so thank you.

This comment made me laugh. Then I imagined hearing Ryan Davis shout "FUCK YOU!" in response to this comment and it made me laugh again.

It's the wave that really sells it...the wave makes it beautiful but tragic.

Here I was thinking you'd recut the funeral pyre... which would have made me very sad (in a good way).

Yes, this is how I want to think of it. Ryan's now a Jedi ghost who'll always be with us.

I thought it may have Ryan doing something funny but seeing him waving like that just made my heart sink (it is a very nice video though) but just made it really real for me RIP Ryan... We will never forget you.

#85 Posted by LegendaryChopChop (1215 posts) -

Yup. This is the best.

#86 Posted by Haseo (53 posts) -

A very nice tribute well done.

#87 Posted by SHADOWINFINITE (545 posts) -

Tears of joy dude, tears of joy. This is one of the best tributes to Ryan.

#88 Posted by Hawkins1701 (13 posts) -

Extra kudos for using the original version of Jedi with the yumcha song.

I'm sure Ryan would have preferred it that way.

@mrfluke: Man.. Devastatingly beautiful. Crying, snot bubbles abound. Whoever did this deserves a sweaty hug.

#90 Posted by abrasion (157 posts) -

You fucker, I don't need this in the office right now :~(

#92 Posted by triclops41 (25 posts) -

In a few years, can we replace Ryan with a totally different blond guy and act like everything is fine?

#93 Posted by dagas (2868 posts) -

That is a good tribute. I still don't know what happened. Did they ever say what happened? An accident? A heart attack? It seemed so sudden.

#95 Edited by mrfluke (5271 posts) -

@dagas: ryan's dad basically confirmed that he died from sleep apnea.

#96 Posted by hanktherapper (379 posts) -

Still makes me tear up.

#97 Posted by kristov_romanov (462 posts) -
