Evil scientists removed my tongue in an attempt to create an evil tongue monster to take over the greater Milwaukee area.
So, no. I cannot say "class action lawsuit", and I am offended you would ask!

Ok, ok, let me try: Class Action Lawnsuit. Oh wait, I fucked. Man, it's not that easy, huh. Here I go again: Class Action Lawsuit. Yeah, I think I got it. Class Action Lawsuit. Yeah!
When I tried it, it came out as Character Action Lawsuit.

Duuude, it's like I said, it ain't easy.
Wait a minute, a thought just popped into my head: would a server rental service make sense for a business plan? You know, buy up some servers and rent them out to companies for some limited amount of time specifically for these types of situations?
I'd like to know how many authors of these ridiculous lawsuit threads on video game forums have actually ever been part of a legitimate class action or individual lawsuit. My guess is...not very many.
I really wish more people would actually do instead of just talking about it. Find an attorney and file suit. Be a hero.
Because paying for a lawyer to try and get back $60 due to 20 minute game delays is totally worth it guys.....
It's gonna get fixed. I don't see why people are making such a big deal outta this. After watching the Diablo III launch from afar, I pretty much expected this. I'll be waiting for the sale in a month or two.
I want people to stop talking all big and tough and actually go try a class action lawsuit. Not if, but when they got totally shut down maybe they will refrain from being so naive in the future. They act like children and it's embarrassing.

Tactical Espionage Action Lawsuit.
I guess no one remembers the launch of other online video games. Huh.
It's shitty but it sure has happened before.
I bet they already have a clause in the EULA that waives the right to class-action lawsuits. If I was EA, and I could sneak that in, I would.
Yep. Ever since the Playstation Network outage (probably long before that, too), I'm almost positive every single company has hidden a "You agree not to sue us ever" sentence in their terms of use.
I didn't buy the game, but I'd be pretty annoyed if I can't play the single player game I just bought because the online servers aren't working.
I bought Diablo 3 about 2 months after it came out and I was still getting kicked out of online games because of their server issues. What was the point of stacking nephalim if it would get reset after only 30 minutes of playing. How's Diablo 3 doing now by the way?
People will know in the future not to buy this crap. I'd assume the word of mouth is destroying future purchases for SimCity.
Nah. I'd rather just stand outside the EA Offices in Redwood City and pelt the side of the building with tomatoes.

I'd like to be in on this, please.

Are you an attorney? We need an attorney.

I'm not an attorney, but I play one on TV. Winners don't do drugs.
1. You didn't buy a game. You bought a license.
2. The EULA said server problems not their problem, so sucks to be you.
3. You bought a license not a tangible product.
4. The EULA also says you can't sue EA if you don't like it.
5. You didn't buy the rights to a game. You "rented" the permission to use their licensed product for as long as EA sees fit.
AKA: Sucks to be you. Next time read up what you really own when you buy digital goods, also counts for the physical version.
So many people on this thread saying that a class action lawsuit against EA is futile.
No people on this thread remember that EA published Spore and lost a class action lawsuit due to problems with the DRM.
@kaosangel: EULA's don't actually override local laws, fair trade and consumer protection laws will trump a EULA every time.
Class Action lawsuits can bankrupt creative companies, with little more than a single dollar of payout to each of the victorious winners.
If you love videogames and this industry then keep the god damn lawyers out of it.
Honestly we are lucky rockstar survived hot coffee.
@video_game_king: They already have this basically. Amazon Web Services, Google App Engine... To the cloud!
Can you say "frivolous lawsuit"? Because I'm sure the judges can.
