Skullgirls Encore and the Typing of the Skullgirls

After the trouble with Skullgirls getting removed from PSN and XBLA (see this thread), Lab Zero has found a solution to this by releasing the game as Skillgirls Encore.

You can read all the information here but to sum it up,

• PSN players will get Skullgirls Encore for free, while the XBLA version is just a patched version of the original game.
• The Steam version is automatically updated to this version.
• Tthere will be added a new mode called Typing of Skullgirls, which is exactly what it sounds like. Just plug in a keyboard and you can play the fighting game version of Typing of the dead you've been waiting for! (well, probably not really) It will be on PS3 and PC, not sure about the 360 version.

Now while Typing of the Skullgirls sounds like its mostly a gimmick you'll use once and that's it, the fact that they even put it in is awesome and I can't wait to try it.

Typing of the Skullgirls is a weird thing.

Guess I'll just bump this thread to let everyone know that the new character Big Band is now available for the low, low price of FREE on PS3 (along with an 800 MB compatibility patch) and should be out tomorrow for 360 as well. Also here's a video that will make you smile.
