Hey, duder. Let's Steamgifts. Here's how it works:

1. Join the GB Giveaway Group:

It's invite only, so you'll have to message me or one of the group moderators to get in. The GB Gift Giveway group is for Upstanding Duders; meaning long-time GB members, premium members and highly-active members only. If you signed up within the month and have only a handful of posts, you're not getting in. Just settle in, participate and become a part of the site. In a few months, give us a shout!

2. Log on to steamgifts with your Steam account:

It's safe, yo. It connects through the Steam API, and checks what games are already in your account and if you're part of the GB Giveaway Group.

3. Join the raffle:

Click the link and click "Enter To Win". I'm gonna start this off with...

4. Contribute:

Start your own giveaway on the Steamgifts site and set it to GB Group Only in the options. I suggest 2 to 3 days as the duration for a giveaway.

Give games, get games. Let's share the love.

FAQ - READ THESE THEY ARE ALSO IMPORTANT:

1. RE-SYNC: If you signed up to steamgifts before joining the GB Giveaway Group, after joining the group you can resync your account here

2. TUFF-E-NUFF: You need at least $100 worth of games in your account to join Steamgifts.

3. POINTS? 1P = $1. You'll earn points over time, so just come back later if you don't have enough.

4. JUST THE BOMB: To filter Steamgifts so that you only see GB Giveaway Group giveaways, you'll need to install a browser add-on: SG Enhancement.

5. MY BABIES: You cannot give away games that you have in your Steam Library. If it's in your library, it means you own it and that's permanent. To gift a game it must be something from your Steam Inventory or something that you just bought with the explicit purpose of giving away. Once a game is in your Library, it is no longer giftable.

6. OH YOU FANCY HUH: You can post a dynamically updated image for your giveaway. Copy the following: <a href=***><img src="***/signature.png"></a> and replace the ***'s with the link to your giveaway - then insert that code into your post as HTML. The HTML button is under More on the Parchment v2 toolbar.

Sadly no since they only allow Dota and CS beta. You can always give it to me :)

@dcgc: I don't see AirMech in the list of giftable games on the steamgifts site, so I don't think that one will work. But in general, anything that can be redeemed or bought on Steam should be giftable.

I'm giving away Terraria right now but I also have a copy of Dungeon Defenders and Orion: Dino Beatdown that i'll be putting up later.

no don't think so, i think it's just the currency you have to enter giveaways.

Unfortunately not. Group giveaways are regarded as "invite-only" private giveaways, so they don't get grouped together anywhere.

I think so! Steam offers Mac games, so it should be possible to gift them.

I thought about that, but I think if we all keep to a 2 to 3 day duration for the giveaways, if you look at a post that's older than 3 days, it's safe to assume it's inactive.

Holy shit, there is no way I've spent that much on PC games. Guess I get a lot of stuff on sale. STILL.... that's a gross number to see.

Anyway, yeah joined up. Sounds fun. If I buy bundle packs and get gift copies I'll be sure to throw them up there.

I guess I deleted my comment as you were typing out your reply, but yeah, I thought about it after leaving the comment and decided it might be better to just keep it as is. Anyway, I think this was a great idea and hopefully I can contribute a game soon.

Thank you for posting a forum topic about this group! Being part of the public giveaways, I'll be the first to say it's not user-friendly (at least to me). I have roughly 830 games entered, none won so far.

Well, I've used up all the points I have for now entering Giant Bomb only giveaways. Thanks everyone! Hopefully I'll be able to put up a game for a giveaway soon (something that comes in a pack of 4 most likely).

I have two giveaways going for Giant Bomb group members.

First up are two copies of The Ship, this one ends in two hours, whoops. Only six entries so still good odds if you want in.

The second giveaway is for a copy of Monday Night Combat, yeah you can go play the free two play Super Monday Night Combat, but the original is still a lot of fun and hey, it could be free for you too!

Also the statistic of my game library consisting of 399 games at an estimated value of $5,282 blew my mind. Sheesh.
