Something very jarring I noticed...

I had no idea this game took place in London

Anyone else notice this?

From what I've seen of the game it looks like a hellish landscape, so seems about right.

@shindig: ... good point, it may be intentional and related to the crazy reality bending aspects of the game. I shall have to wait until I get my hands on a copy. (Totally broke as of this morning)

Pretty sure it's just set in "the West" as defined through an almost Swery-like lens.

Probably the result of a Japanese artist using whatever reference images rather than conscious design decision.

I like how the Japanese dude in the cop team looks like a stereotype Japanese yuppie detective. He looks so out of place compared to everyone else. Who wears leather gloves while reading files in a car?

I doubt it's the UK since everybody has American accents and the police all have guns also the streets are all laid out like grids American style.

It's not London, it's some fictional city called Krimson City.

Yeah, it's not set in a real place. Not to mention all the characters have east coast-style accents so I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be a generic american metropolis.

Yes yes, I realise it's not *actually* London, just felt that the inclusion of that bus stop was totally out of place
