Which platform will you play The Witcher 3 on?

Not sure when I'll pick this up but when I do it'll be ps4

It's gotta be PC for me.

PS4, since my current PC probably couldn't even run The Witcher 2.

I played the last 2 on PC, but I'm at college now and my PC is thousands of miles away...

I really want to play it, but I'm wary of just how much they would import from your save.

Because I live in Europe right now and a 970 costs pretty much about $500 and a 980 costs roughly $800 when you translate the currency.

PC, already own 1 and 2 on GOG so naturally that is where i will and have gotten 3.

This generation has dated my PC. I'm a PS4 user until I upgrade.

XB1 is my primary platform, I use my PS4 and PC only for exclusives.

Just did a complete overhaul on PC with all my parts coming this Friday. Still placed a physical copy for PC because Witcher certainly has the brand of "This will make your PC cry", and I'm worried it might not play smoothly.

PC. I bought a new GPU for it - not solely for Witcher III, but it was a big influence in terms of, "man I really am getting to the point where I feel like I need to upgrade this".

Plus it came with codes for both Witcher III and Arkham Knight, so that helped me make the decision a lot more easily. I would still have played it on PC though.

PS4 here. I have a competent computer for it, but when were talking a 100+ hour experience I'd rather sit on my couch in front of a large TV that sit at my computer desk starring at a smaller screen.

I'm thinking ahead here. While I really want to really push my new 980 and go with PC, I'm going to be going and moving over to Japan for a year and my PC is just too bulky to bring with reliably. So I'm probably just gonna go PS4.

I think my PC is officially dated so Ps4 for me. It could probably still run the game but would most likely struggle running it even on lower settings and I would rather not deal with that and just enjoy the game while sitting on my couch in front of my big screen.

PC. I never really experienced the 'Witcher 2 is a bastard to run' stuff, even though my gaming PC at the time was pretty mid range, and it was a day 1 purchase for me.

Fully prepared to have a massive amount of egg on my face here but I don't think W3 will be that severe.

PS4, I'm long over due for a PC upgrade but its not in the cards at the moment and I already shelled out for a PS4 so wtf am I doing if I don't actually play anything on it.

That wasn't always a given. I was in a pretty good position to buy any of the new consoles or a graphics card and my 7870 still had some life left in it, but I wound up just buying a 970 and getting a free copy of The Witcher 3 anyway. I already have it preloaded through GOG Galaxy and ready to play as soon as it release. 7PM on the 18th for people in the EST time zone!

X1, it's my main console and I honestly enjoy it the most. It's a great device. And no, I don't care that it runs at "only" 900p.

Definitely PC for me. Though graphics aren't everything, there's something quite special about playing a game @ 4K 60 fps on a 40" monitor.

I'm pretty sure my PC can run it pretty well, but PS4 for me.

Ps4. My jank-ass laptop would probably catch on fire if I tried to run The Witcher 3 on it.

PS4. My PC couldn't even run Witcher 2, let alone 3.

PS4 since there won't be a Linux version at launch...and if I tired to run it on my laptop anyway, it would probably just pop up a message saying "LOL"

So I'm guessing you've got a sli 980 setup if you think you're going to get anywhere close to maybe 30 fps at that resolution which I doubt will still even be possible. Maybe sli Titan X's

Would like to play on PC, but my current set up was already chugging when Witcher 2 came out so that's not happening. Hopefully there's a day one patch on PS4 that fixes a lot of the areas that are supposedly very laggy.

This series was always meant for PC so that seems the obvious choice.

If PC was an option I'd probably go there, but it most definitely is not even close, so PS4.

Someday, when my PC isn't a total shitshow, I'll probably buy it again and play through the whole series again.

PC. I'll hook it to my TV for the experience. Exploration and 100 hour games aren't as fun sitting at a desk with a little 24" screen.

I considered getting the PS4 version. If the PC version is broken, I'll go PS4.
