Heavy Industries (official GB PC clan)

May I have an invite? I'm thinking of playing this a bit more often and it'd be cool to be in the clan. My nickname is also audioBusting in-game.

@journ3y: You have an invite pending. Make sure to go to your contacts and confirm from there.

I haven't been playing recently because something about whatever they patched in with Galatine makes me crash in the middle of every mission I run. Sorry.

Seems like they've finally locked down how Warframe will interact between PC and PS4: https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/125149-warframe-ps4-account-migrationcross-platform-play/

Basically? You can copy your PC account to PS4. Doing so makes a copy (does not impact the PC account at all) with everything except for Platinum and Clan Membership.

They are planning to allow cross-platform (PC<->PS4) play, but it will only be available when the builds are in synch.

This is, of course, bad news for the clan as it means the influx in new players is likely to be focused on PS4 - who will not be able to join the PC clan (that currently exists, and cannot be transferred to PS4).

I understand why they have made this decision (they want to keep the flexibility/speed they have on PC, won't delay patches to be in synch with PS4), but I'm not convinced it's the best choice for Warframe - in my experienced, a splintered community is very rarely a good thing.

edit: It's not all doom and gloom, however. While the builds are synched playing with players cross platform will be possible. Should be good excuses to have the PC and future PS4 clan join up for some games. :)

I just played one mission tonight. I installed Warframe after being unable to get BF3 working all day (frustrating). I liked the setup. It felt similar to times of old where I'd play co-op games on console. I'm going to get more familiar with the game before I request to join the clan. I play on PC.

@014: Well, feel free to join up sooner, we're a pretty easy-going bunch (no one's going to blame anyone for a botched mission), and we could use another regular player :)

And you'll probably learn a lot about the game faster than you would otherwise.

Anyway, I ran across this list of clan tags - I thought it was interesting to see what other clans are rolling with (really impressed with some of these, much better than any I've seen ingame): http://imgur.com/a/sQWeH ... we're unfortunately not listed. Only a few are about as good as our awesome emblem, though :)

I would join but when I tried downloading Warframe it crashed my PS4 twice. Both times I had to unplug the system and go through recovery. My PS4 is fine, but I think its tempting fate to try again at this point. I will probably wait a couple weeks before they have it ironed out.

@mnemoidian: I saw a fair amount of clan logos that look like they were influenced by ours! I know it took me a bit to come up with how to make GB HI a symmetrical pattern.

@humanity: Yeah, agreed - though I do think that yours has a unique look (which I still think looks great). :)

@flindip: Keep in mind that you can't actually join the PC clan from PS4. You'll be able to play with us, from PS4 once the "rainbow bridge" is activated (not yet), but can't join clans across platforms.

Someone (playing the PS4 version) should probably set up a PS4 clan at some point.

I have just gotten through the tutorial on PS4 and seriously have NO IDEA what is happening. I would love to have some folks to play this with, it's pretty cool and you guys seem to have a pretty fun clan going. PSN name is theBobcatte, I am guessing I am not the only new-jack who could use some help navigating this insanity.

@bobbykatz: This thread is actually for the PC clan (can we update the title to reflect that?), and we should probably have a thread for PSN player grouping (as PC<->PS4 play is not currently active).

We can help you with information though, feel free to ask any questions you have about the game, someone can probably help you out :)

@mnemoidian: Partly my fault! @jackel2072 posted my new updated version, unfortunately I didn't specify that this was the PC clan. He had added that when he updated before, I did not see it until I posted my final update.

And guess I need to update the map to add plans for the trading kiosk. I'm thinking of adding a cross-connector in the Research tunnel and putting the trading kiosk - seems like a decent place for it. (grouped with other rooms that you get items out of) - anyone have opinions on that? I'll probably start gathering materials for the cross connector in a few hours. I'll make another post when I do.

Nevermind, the trading kiosk is currently being built in the Oracle. I assumed you needed a full room - using the Oracle room makes sense (unless you place it in one of the halls).

I've considered starting a PS4 thread for PS4 Warframe matchmaking purposes, but it feels dumb for someone who only plays the PC version to do so.

@living4theday258: You seem to already be in another clan - you have to leave that one to join this one. (Even having a pending invitation from another clan counts as being in tha clan from the perspective of inviting someone to the clan, FYI) - when you've done that, just post again and we'll get you invited :)
