Can't get past the first load screen

So I have tried starting this game every way possible. Fullscreen/Not, Controller/Not, Low settings, Update drivers. This game will not finish that first loading screen. I have yet to play this game...

Don't download a bad cracked version then bro =/ buy the game.

I've seen your complaint on all those websites, but the retail copy boosted up nice and clean for me, and i havent seen any reports like yours

Nvidia pushed out a new driver just today. Maybe try that?

By the way, word of warning - My 12 hour+ save got corrupted somehow and Uplay synced that corrupted save to the cloud. The game will freeze whilst loading the corrupted save. Might wanna occasionally back up your save manually to avoid the nightmare I suffered.

I had the same issue. I was able to get past this issue by doing these things:

1. Disable in-game overlay and automatic wall posts in UPlay's settings.

2. I uninstalled and reinstalled UPlay and Watch Dogs to the Program Files (x86) directory. I initially had both installed to C:\UPlay

You may want to try one or all of those things.
