Has anyone played this game? Is it ok?

From the little I've seen it really reminded me of Wii Play mixed with a crappier version of Mario Party. Then I saw some people playing it on youtube and it kind of looked ok?

But has anyone actually played it? Is it actually an ok game?

I got mario cart 8 and I'm trying to decide between the free game. Wish there was some content on this on this site.
