Just make it something hitting my niche so precisely, I can't help but want an Xbox One. Something akin to what Demon's Souls was for the PS3, or GTA III was for the PS2, or Halo was for the original Xbox.
Get on it!
I don't know about that Ruffian tweet, but the news is Microsoft Studios bought the Gears of War franchise from Epic. You can read about it here.

They will talk about nothing for forty-five minutes. Then Microsoft will bring out Bethesda to show a 30 second Fallout 4 teaser that shows absolutely nothing. Afterwards Phil Spencer comes out to say that Microsoft spent a bazillion dollars for an exclusivity deal.
That is the most likely. Emphasis on a short teaser that shows nothing...
But, just for laughs... It will the Fable Kinect 2.
You heard it here first, folks.
Guys - Tomorrow’s big XBONE announcement is Grabbed by the Ghoulies 2.

I'd be more interested in a new Crackdown than a new Gears game, but it really seems that it's going to be another Gears.
Well apparently the Ruffian announcement has nothing to do with Crackdown or Microsoft.

Yeah... I came here to comment on the same.
Ohh, well. I guess the surprise announcement was a surprise to no one.
Turns out they acquire the rights for Gears of Wars: Microsoft bought Gears of Wars
Cool Beans!
@spaceinsomniac: Personally I had a blast with Crackdown 2 despite its shortcomings. People were too harsh with that game.

Hindsight's 20/20. I thought EPIC going 3rd party with Gears was just as likely.
I am not talking about Gears specifically... I am talking about the big name game announcement. If you scroll up you will see I agreed with someone that talked about the announcement being a new Fallout.
To me, that was the root of the issue: Microsoft was not going to announce something new and unexpected, something out of the left field, like a new IP. It was going to be the announcement of a new iteration of a known franchise, and it would be just that it was coming soon (again, surprising no one).
My money was on Halo or Gears... Not that they would buy the franchise, but that they would say Halo 5/Gears of War 4 was coming and exclusive to XB1.
@turtlebird95: The main missions were bad though. That underground shit, what the hell was that? If I hadn't payed $15 for it, I would have been upset.
@hermes: Eh, you were responding to this news specifically, which you said no one would find surprising. That's what I'm talking about, not all that other stuff.
Still happy with the Gears announcement and that Rod returned to Microsoft and the franchise! Now they should just announce that Cliffy B is coming back to Gears as well!! :D
I don't feel like we should count out Crackdown either. Spencer confirmed they still have a few things to announce prior to E3 and we know we'll get some big stuff there too since they probably want to erase the image they had last year.
PS4 now exclusive to Xbox One.
two hdmi ports, son.
A new gears of war! GREAT! Thought for a second they were going to force me to buy an Xbox one by making a crazy ambitious interesting looking game or locking the exclusive for fallout 4 or something stupid.
Really dodged a bullet on that one...
Serious answer: Probably a new Gears of War game since they spent all of that money to acquire control of Gears of War. Microsoft sure has the market cornered for those dude-bro-sci-mil shooters.
Not so serious but still highly likely answer: Fusion Frenzy...One? Because Microsoft knows how to make those hot party games with Kinect support that everyone loves.
