We had a good lobby most of the night. Hovered around 6-8. We didn't run into that bug/issue we usually do. Flag Pole with Raptors on Maple Valley Short(?) was pretty awesome. I didn't see a Hill Climb done.

I have family in town and with the holidays, i will be missing a few more RNs :(

Yes...until recently, when they stopped selling that model and started selling a newer model that has a new design, an unnecessary use-with-your-phone mode, and lower review scores on Amazon. The new one was the only one at Gamestop and most other retailers, but I found this older style at Sears for 10 bucks less.

As of tonight, our club garage has an old friend that was taken away from us when 3 became 4. Its setup is still kind of shit, but the design is as good as it's ever been.

Have you guys tried doing some sort of sumo wrestling thing in the small soccer arena where you have to push your opponent into one of the goal posts. Last one standing wins.

That does sound awesome, but I've yet to see a way to use the soccer field maps in a mode outside of soccer, so the chances of any alternate modes are unlikely.

Last night was cool. Lot o' racin'

Laz and company (slowbird, me and I forget who else) lost pretty bad @ soccer (4 to 1). Played against 3 Spykers and a Hummer.

Laz punished everyone to go around Rally in Hummers with full damage and possibly little traction (I forget). It was fun.

We did some up hill in S class. Some Maple Valley, Ladera, Infineon, ect. in other classes.

We ended with some NASCAR w/ damage w/ Stock Hummer traffic. That was fun. Did that twice. Then did the same on Top Gear.

Two people had their first race night wins (Razor won the Hummer challenge around Rally). And Sushi(? [I don't remember these things) won the second NASCAR because most very too damaged.

Congrats to those guys!!! (I still have yet to get a win)

We hit midnight and didn't run into the bug. But we hit it when trying to setup multiclass on Nürburgring(?) around 12:40 EDT. We ran multiclass before. No one got in after midnight. Nebraska Team wasn't there. I think it was me but the track never loaded. Don't know what's going on with that. I wonder if it has something to do with the complexity of the setup?

I'm witht PAX on the theme nights. I was going to suggest the idea myself. I think rather than a different theme each week it should be a month theme. That way we can have one or two races during race night dealing with the theme. This lets people race other things if they don't like the theme. This prevent the Leaders from having to come up with a theme every week and restrictions. Could work. Not up to me though.

It was actually one Spyker to three hummers, and I was the one who won the NASCAR w/ Hummers race.

I won the second NASCAR with Hummers race for my first victory. It was a good night.

I've had a suspicion for a while that my brake pedal wasn't giving me full range, and I finally remembered to check it with the telemetry view in 4za.

Yep, roughly 60% brake pressure. So that's why I haven't been locking up the brakes at all.

Time to buy the fancy pedals.

My apologies for the delay in delivering race notes. There have been...distractions.

Before I get into any silly bullet points, though, the GB100 thread and poll is up! Visit there, see that we're racing January 1st at 8:00 PM EST, and vote on the track you want to run for 100 laps. I know I said I'd limit it to the five new tracks in Forza 4, but since Nurburgring GP was DLC for 3 and wasn't a valid choice for prior GB100 events, it's one of the potential choices now.

Go there, and choose wisely. After that, come back here, and witness the cat.

• Another decent turnout this week, but we're back down to Forza 3 levels. Hopefully that will change, since I think that's partially to blame for my annoying post-soccer Hatefests. A full 8-on-8 battle would be far more entertaining!
• All Americans are John Wayne. Startling news, I know, but it's true...you racists.
• Fiero fandom leads to creepy behavior, like pedophilia with El Camino lovers or joining Michael Waltrip fan clubs.
• ...seriously, this is the crazy bullshit we discuss while racing. It's not even some random underwear Madlibs bullshit. We actually talk at length about this stuff.

• The ending to Pro Race Driver is like The Ring: If you see it, you only have a few days to live. • Night of the Living Alfa is a really good classic horror film. It helped foster a tolerance for Italian cars.
