With Forza 4 out in less than a day now, I felt it was time that the Forza 4 forum got a place for people to trade out their preorder cars if they wanted something else.

As it stands now, the North American retailers (I don't know what cars are being offered outside the states, sorry) are offering the following cars for preorder:

• 2011 Subaru WRX STi (Amazon.com)
• 2011 BMW 1 Series M Coupe (Best Buy)
• 2011 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde (GameStop)
• 2011 Honda CR-Z EX (Target, Microsoft Store)
• 2011 MINI John Cooper Works Clubman (Wal-Mart)

If anyone wants to participate, just put your place of preorder and the car you'd like to trade it for down and I'll compile a list of everyone's cars and the ones they want here. I'll leave it up to you guys to contact each other for trades, so keep it fair and don't screw anyone over. :)

I preordered from Gamestop. I don't care which preorder car I get, so anyone who preordered from somewhere else that wants the Alfa Romero let me know and we can work out a switch.

I will trade my pinky finger for someone's Alfa. Please? It's a good deal! They were sold out of pre-orders when I went in. Pity.

That's pretty lame that they were out of preorder bonuses. However, I won't give up my Alfa Romero unless I get something in return; preferably a car, and not a pinky finger.

@matt_wickstrom: Not even bonuses, plumb outta pre-orders. I'm gonna try and get a retail copy whenever they open, I guess. It's kinda lame but I moved to the middle of nowhere to be closer to university, and now I only have like two game stores to try my luck with.

Sold out? What kind of world do we live in where a digitally generated, 25-digit code can "sell out". That sucks, duder.

I don't know how you sell out of something you haven't even sold yet. If you "sell out" of pre-orders.. I dunno.. maybe order another more? Hmm.

@XII_Sniper: I assume they ordered early on their preorder shipment, and can't order any more until their current order sells out. I'm probably wrong, but it's just a thought. I agree the whole concept of "selling out" on something you haven't already sold yet is complete bullshit.

I'm getting the Scooby (they changed around what you get from Amazon and Game over here in the UK) and would be more than willing to trade for some sweet Alfa action or the BMW if anyone can get their hands on one.

UK 360 codes are unique to that region, correct?

I just used my Alfa Romero code, so anyone wanting it is going to have to look elsewhere

Crap I wasn't even thinking and I redeemed my Alfa code. Theres no way to trade the car instead of the code is there? whoops.

You can totally Sell/Gift the preorder cars in the game itself, if you want to go that route.

You'll have to ask a Brit to know for sure, but from what I gather it's only the 360 Points cards that are region locked? I think? I'm not sure, the Internet isn't being very helpful on giving me a definitive answer on this one, so I'd be sure to check first, but from what I understand now, it should be region free. Should be.

The Gamestop codes are your typical 25-digit 360 codes, and if 360 codes do indeed work across region, then there's nothing to fear there. If you want to be extra sure, then just have the person redeem the code and Gift the car to you in-game, that too will work.

I just bid on a preorder code from the UK, so we'll know sooner or later. I'll post something here once I find out if the code worked or not.

I preordered from Amazon the day before it came out, got the preorder bonus and it was deliverd to my house @ 1:30pm on release day without even charging more for the next day delivery. Plus I got $10 off my next purchase from Amazon. Gamestop is terrible.

I can now confirm that the preorder codes work internationally.

I preordered it but got no code.. I'll give 1mil credits to whoever can send me the Scooby or BMW?
