Just like Forza 3, Forza 4 has a save corruption problem. This can happen even if you never move your save from your console, or even before you power off the console after the first time you play. How this happens, I have no fucking clue. It's complete and utter bull shit. But it's a thing, and I'm warning you.

Before getting too far into career, I recommend that you attempt to do EVERYTHING in the game once. Make a vinyl, apply said vinyl to a car, make a tune, post a lap time in Rivals, EVERYTHING. Otherwise, you're going to get 20+ hours into career, decide it's time to try your hand at making a vinyl, and you won't be able to because your save is corrupt.

No word from Turn 10 yet on this problem.

Looks like the game makes a dummy save that's corrupted. The one I had was only 40KB and I deleted it. Fixed my problem.

I never even knew this was a problem with Forza 3. I'll keep an eye on it, but I had never even heard of this issue until now.

Yeah, I never had this problem in Forza 3, but it was a thing then too.

On a similar yet different note, I haven't gotten money or xp for roughly half the races I've finished. Looking around the FM4 forums it appears to be related to playing with a fanatec wheel. People with the Porsche or the new CSR wheels are having the problem. Not 100% of all people of the time, but some are. Very strange....

That's really weird, did you actually see 2 save files on your HDD at once?

I was looking through the achievements real quick and saw some easy ones, like paint a car and save a tune. When I went to save a tune it said my save was corrupt. So I have to go in and delete my "Car Setup Files Saved Game" file. I'm not even sure what I did to make it corrupt.
