<span>Frank O'Connor, affectionately known by fans as "Frankie", was the former content manager for andlt;spanandgt;Bungie Studiosandlt;/spanandgt;. O'Connor was the primary writer of the Bungie update (along with andlt;spanandgt;Luke Smithandlt;/spanandgt; or "Lukems") as well as the creator of comedic Master Chief parody "Mister Chief". On May 16 2008 he announced his departure from Bungie to work at andlt;spanandgt;Microsoftandlt;/spanandgt; on future andlt;spanandgt;Haloandlt;/spanandgt; content.</span>

<span>Born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland. As a child and teen Frankie was obsessed with video games playing: Pong, 2600, Intellivision, Vectrex, ColecoVision, Sinclair Spectrum, Atari 800, Commodore 64...and so on, right up until Xbox 360 in the present day.</span> <span>He was able to parlay his love of video games into a career working at a number of video game publications including TOTAL! Nintendo magazine, Ultimate Future Magazine and the Official Xbox Magazine. He then made the jump to Bungie Studios as content manager.</span>
