And it's probably the best Sonic game there has ever been since Sonic 2, probably because it can get out of Sonic's old mechanics but keep the Mega Drive (Hell yeah Europe!) feel. Damn good bosses, creative multilayered levels and so on.

I'm having a ton of fun with this game, but it doesn't seem to be getting the attention it deserves. A quick look would be awesome!

The voice acting in the trailer is much like a real Sonic game. Hits the nail on the head, and the chalkboard.

One of the best games of the year and nobody bothered to give it a shot.

It'll probably get it's cult following and come back in a couple of years. Shame there wasn't a quick look to give it more publicity.

Is this the one Patrick played during Worth Playing?

Its solid. It won't crack my top ten, but I liked it quite a bit. If you've been torturing yourself with bad Sonic games, then you owe it to yourself to try this.

When I played that demo of it a couple of years back I thought the level design was an absolute mess. I'm curious to see what it's like now.

Played this at PAX South, liked it and bought a key since they were selling them there. Even bought a SNES usb remote to play it like they had it up there. Just sunk 100 mins into it.

This was an old bump, but for a good cause.

I've yet to play the full version, but I'll immediately buy it when it comes to Vita (which they want to do if they have the funding). Everything I've seen has made a great impression.

I'd play through this again on Vita if it comes to it. Been a while since I knocked out a game in a few sittings.

Checkpoints can be frustrating sometimes though.

I feel it got less credit than it deserves, it's a solid game and fun to play, much better than all the crappy Sonic games of the last 15 years. Drew should give it a shot, he mentioned it on a recent podcast.

And it's not wrong to blatantly steal a design if nobody is currently doing anything with it, right?
