    Short summary describing this game.

No recent wiki edits to this page.

The action plays out in real time rather than the traditional turn based grid strategy that the franchise is known for.  Characters from the past Front Mission games make an appearance in this title.
Players are assigned to a nation(/server) and can fight in battles of up to 20 players. The feature of defecting to another country was added to try and balance server population issues. The game also features VoIP.

This game uses the PlayOnline service which is available for PS2 and PC to connect with other players. The monthly fee for the game cost around 1344 yen.
Support for Front Mission Online was discontinued on May 31, 2008.
