Need for Speed Underground is considered to be one of the best NFS games, and one of the best selling ones, selling 15 million copies world wide.
The first in Criterion's signature street racing series, focused on driving recklessly through traffic at high speeds, with car crashes being just as spectacular.
Originally intended as an advergame for Road & Track magazine, "The Need for Speed" didn't sell any copies of the printed form, but instead went on to create a beloved racing franchise that has lasted for two decades.
