Ah, great quotes. Great quotes.

A shame that you rarely see him in Episode 1 and 2 :P

#7 Posted by korwl (3 posts) -

nah i saw him much more often in episode 2 than in 1 or the original half-life2 ... was he actually in episode 1?

#8 Posted by theacclaimed (38 posts) -

The only time he was in episode 1 was at the beginning I think.

On my first play of HL2, in the airboat where you see him in the barn, I was like :o, and ran up there. But he was gone...

Ya he's definitely a creepy and mysterious figure, I have never caught him (as far as I remember) but it always leaves you wondering. Valve is just a mastermind at storytelling and intriguing characters.

**SPOILER**what about Alyx's dad knowing all about the G-man in episode two... where did that come from?

also, remember him popping out all over the place in HL2? I mean, I would see him, and he would just walk away, and I was saddened, cuz he seemed like a cool guy to go grab a beer with.

The original Halflife is the most epic fps ever created. When you come with quotes like that (Unforeseen consequences)... you stir my heart!

#16 Posted by Ricardo (1 posts) -

I wish I could use Dog on him. Or bash him with the crowbar. :D

#17 Posted by MichaelH (14 posts) -

I really hope he will have a much larger and in-depth role in Episode 3.

Some more awsome gman lines in ep3 would be great

If they don't dedicate a huge portion of Episode 3 to storyline with the Gman I'll be soo disapointed, I'm kind of over the gameplay I just want to know some more story.

If there were Half-Life novels I'd read them, they would have to change the story a bit I suppose 'cause a non-talking protagonist wouldn't be much of a read!

G-Man was incredibly scary in Half-Life 1 since you don't get to hear him talk until the end, and he follows you around the entire game.

HL2 gave him more human features like anger when the Vorts stop him in Ep 1 and laughter in Ep 2, among others, which toned down his scariness.

G-Man is possibly one of if not the most mysterious antagonists in games. I'm really looking forward to what Ep.3 will bring. I WANT NOW!

#30 Posted by atejas (3057 posts) -

Its not even too clear if he's an antagonist, i mean
***SPOILER- During Ep2, you find out he was responsible for the resonance cascade-***SPOILER
but we still dont know why

G-Man is my favorite "Strange" guy ever. He gives me creeps everytime.

You see G-Man in the Half-Life world and not just in the little cut scenes?! Where?
