Is there a pc version of this game in english?

GameBiz totally lacks the charm of Game Dev Story, which makes me want to play the latter more.

I have good news and bad news. The good news is there is a PC version of Game Dev Story. The bad news, it's 100% in Japanese (unless I missed an English option). You can find it here:  http://kairosoft.net/pc/gamedev2.html

It would be so awesome to see an English version of this game for PC. If you do want to go to the trouble of trying to play the Japanese PC version there is a guide on it here.

If it gets popular enough I'm sure someone would make a translation patch, it just needs to be brought up to a game translation group.

l found a copy of game dev story in english not all of it is in english but the important stuff is in english heres the link http://adf.ly/8eZ0S you have to create a save using gd2 save builder to get a near fully translated game

The only reason I play(ed) Game Dev Story was because it was a mobile game and I could "play" or interact with it during downtime. I would never consider it as a real-ass game to sit down and play with. Don't do that to yourself - you time is worth more than that.
