Years-old gamehouse that has produced such timeless classics as Wheel of Fortune: Featuring Vanna White for the NES, Wheel of Fortune, featuring Vanna White, for the Super Nintendo, and Wheel of Fortune, featuring Vanna White, for the Nintendo 64. Gametek was founded in Miami Florida in the earl 1990s.
Gametek's inital offering consisted of home computer versions of popular game shows such as Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy, later on Gametek would extend their genre boundaries and release games of any genre. Gametek filed for Bankruptcy in 1997. Some of its assets were aquired by Take Two Interactive. Gametek is as of now, defunct.
