An Excellent Idea, Distilled Into Awful Execution 2

Garshasp: The Monster Slayer  is a third-person action-adventure hack-and-slash developed by developer Dead Mage . It’s an indie PC answer to many console-centered games of a similar genre and gameplay style, and it is a very noble effort to mimic what many high-budget games accomplish. It is an excellent first try from an up-and-coming studio, but it also manages to fall short on several key aspects. Solid low budget God of War clone with some technical issues 0

Garshasp: The Monster Slayer was developed by Dead Mage Inc. and released in 2011. The game is notable for being developed by an Iranian development team using some Free Software such as Ogre or OpenAL. The gameplay takes some strong influence from the God of War series and follows most of its basic game mechanics. As in God of War the game is prese...

( which unfortunately lacks character development in this game. ) Garshasp sees that his brother gets killed by a beast named Hitasp and a powerful mace in the possession of his brother n...

God of War style Persian mythology? Shame Garshasp has problems 0

The best independent games tend to be associated with simple, refreshing or unique gameplay mechanics or design, while normally restricted in scope. Dead Mage Studio on the other hand has gone for the ambitious challenge of tackling the action genre, drawing comparison with the epic series God of War.Garshasp: the Monster Slayer is inspired by Persian mythology, and follows the tale of a warrior. The game starts with Garshasp remembering the death of his brother Oroxia, when they were defending ...
