Ya, Gary was THE main guy for PC Gamer when I was heavy into reading it. To be honest, besides maybe Jeff, Gary is the easiest person to respect on here and he isn't even an employee. Also, Will asks for the abuse, he likes it.

Love how you people read so much into everything and can apparently dissect an entire relationship based on offhand remarks said on a podcast.

I too care about the personal lives of complete strangers.

It makes for good TV.

I wish Will/anybody would call Ryan on it, because it gets irritating when you combine the pronunciation thing with the fact that he seems to have an opinion on everything, but it's always the kind of opinion where you can tell that if you pressed him on it he would deflect and not be able to give much detail because he just likes to have opinions on things even when he is completely uninformed on the topic.

He's paid to be a critic, that's what happens.

Oh and I would be happy with more Will on GB and/or the Bombcast, I like the guy. The podcast with him is my "Best Podcast without Vinny" of the year.

When I met Gary, he gave off an arrogant prick sort of vibe.

It's not even the critic thing. It's just that he has to be a part of every conversation for the sake of being part of the conversation, whether it's on the Bombcast, Happy Hour, TNT or anywhere else, even when he has no idea what he's talking about. The other GB staffers knwo when to hold back and not speak when they don't know what they're talking about, but Ryan rarely does that. I get that they want to avoid dead air, but the other guys are way better at filling it without seeming ignorant and uninformed in the process.

Well, after the penguin suit he sort of lost his dignity in the office.  Now it's just generally accepted/encouraged  to give him a hard time.
