OBJECT

A pressurised container used for transportation and storage of compressed gas.

Overview

Canisters can generally be shot to the point of "leaking" their high-pressure contents, causing propulsion (and therefore acting as a demonstration of a game's physics engine) that will throw them high into the air, or cause them to shoot quickly along the ground (depending on orientation and what looks awesome at the time). Often, they will explode after a certain amount of leaking occurs; this can be hastened by shooting them beyond what was necessary to cause the initial leakage.
