Grail Knights who have been raised from the dead as formidable undead warriors, said to surpass even the mightiest Vampire Blood Knights.
A common character class / archetype in role-playing games and fantasy. They are often less chivalric than your average Knight-errant, generally being depicted as either archetypal villains (such as a Dark Lord), or troubled and ruthless anti-heroes.
A Chapter of Space Marines formed in the Second Founding of the Warhammer 40K universe. Descended from the Imperial Fists, they are known for being exceptionally zealous and merciless even compared to other Space Marine chapters.
The IXth of the founding Space Marine legions, based on the world Baal. They tragically suffer from conditions called The Black Rage and the Red Thirst which, when they happen in a given Blood Angel, drives them mad.
Bats, hammers, wrenches, maces, staves, or even brass knuckles. These are weapons intended for blunt trauma rather than cutting or slicing.
The first of the 20 original Space Marine legions, the Dark Angels are secretive, solitary, and paranoid. They are well-known for keeping secrets, and for clashing with one another due to the existence of "fallen" Dark Angels.
A fallen knightly champion (often a Paladin) who has returned as an undead. Not to be confused with Black Knight (though a character can certainly be both). Most commonly seen in High Fantasy roleplaying settings like Dungeons and Dragons and WarCraft.
A gene inherited from the devil himself, if you somehow have some devil gene in you, you may find yourself transforming into a devil version of yourself sometime soon. Prominent in Capcom and Namco franchises Tekken and Devil May Cry.
Fanatically loyal to Sauron and long-time enemies of Gondor, the cruel Easterlings have marshalled to war in the Dark Lord's name, revering him as a vengeful deity.
The Gerudo are a tribe of thieves that live in the desert. This group is primarily female.
The very greatest of all of Bretonnia's knightly warriors, so named because they have each supped from the Grail and been endowed with the Lady's blessings over and above what any other Bretonnian knight receives.
The 4th of the original 20 Space Marine legions, they fell to Chaos during the time of the Horus Heresy. Experts in siege warfare, they are known for their ruthlessly pragmatic nature, as well as for creating the heinous Daemonculaba.
A race of aliens from the planet Qo'noS. They are an extremely aggressive warrior race obsessed with physical combat, conquest and honor, around which their entire society revolves.
A heavily armored soldier in the service of a lord or cause. Typically a champion of good and a defender of the innocent.
The Force-Sensitive foot-soldiers of Valkorion's Eternal Empire. They are enemies to both the Sith and the Jedi
A kendo-themed Rookie/Child level Digimon
Female ninja.
Sauron's most terrible servants. The Nine were once mortal men who one by one succumbed to the power of the One Ring.
A pair of sisters from a mysterious kingdom of man far to the east. They managed to best two of Sauron's ringwraiths, but were then turned into ones themselves after taking the slain Nazgul's rings as their own.
Legendary, stealthy assassins from Japan's feudal era, who are well-trained in the art of the sword, and who may or may not have access to magical powers.
Though a somewhat less common archetype than black knights, red-armored knights still show up now and again in Fantasy works and elsewhere. Like Black Knights, they are often (though not always), portrayed as malevolent.
One of two playable Sith character classes in Star Wars: The Old Republic, with more of a focus on lightsaber combat as opposed to Force power. Also the name of rank-and-file Sith of Vitiate's Sith Empire.
The VIth Legion of the Space Marines, they are among the most prominent Space Marine chapters, well-known for their clashes with the Thousand Sons and for telling tall tales about their accomplishments.
Angelic warriors created by Sigmar to fight against the myriad forces of Chaos, Death, and Destruction.
A militant knightly order who answer to the Chantry, tasked with "monitoring" Mages and hunting down those who refuse to do as the Chantry says.
Men from the South who have joined forces with Sauron, they are well-known for both their archery and use of giant war elephants called Mumakil.
The XVth of the original Space Marine legions. Led by Magnus the Red, they have always been talented and powerful Psykers. Now pledged to Tzeentch, they are doomed to eventually turn to dust.
The most deranged, psychotic, and vicious of all Uruk-hai, Berserkers serve as warriors of exceptional ability who can take blows that would slay a normal Uruk-hai and keep fighting. Because of their lack of self-preservation, they also act as suicide bombers.
In multiple works of fiction, Vampires are depicted as knights clad in (usually black or red), sinister armor. In works of fiction with multiple types of vampires or undead, Vampire Knights are usually shown to be the elite.
Humans aligned with Chaos, they are one of the chief minions of the four Daemon gods in Warhammer Fantasy and Age of Sigmar, each one being larger, stronger, and deadlier than a mere mortal.
