Overview After the player has collected all 16 gym badges in Heart Gold or Soul Silver you can get the GB Sounds key item from the Game Freak employees at the Celadon Condominiums. When the player uses the GB Sounds item it will change the music in the game to sound like the 8 bit versions in the original Gold and Silver. There are a few of the songs that were not present in the original Gold and Silver, they received new 8 bit versions. The GB Sounds versions of the songs are not exactly as they are in the original Gold and Silver.
