I've been wondering where the new episodes of HAWP were at lately, and as it turns out, there's a pretty good reason. 
 
Anthony Burch, frequent Destructoid "editor" and hater of gay people, announced on April 27th via his blog on www.heyash.com that he has been hired as a writer for Gearbox, the makers of Borderlands and the Brothers in Arms franchise. 
 
He states that he is not able to talk about what he is working on for them, and that he doesn't know how well he'll be able to make new episodes of HAWP, whether the HAWPCast will survive, and that Rev Rants is nixed. 
 
Hmm...low brow humor dood goes to Gearbox to write stuff for them?  I'm callin' it - Burch writes Borderlands 2, makes it funnier than humanly possible.  What about you?  Think it's Borderlands 2, and how do you feel about HAWP potentially NOT continuing as well as it has before? 
 
Also, I know - old news.

Well they also have that aliens game coming out. But they gotta be making a borderlands 2.

I think, Borderlands just got a little funnier and a lot more pretentious.
 
HAWP's kinda been iffy of quality since near the end of 'season 1' for me (but i did like the finale). The Uncharted 2 HAWP was really really bad specifically. So I think it's been going down in quality for a while.
